Outing on the streets of London with Roxy to discover Street Art. Great experience. A real discovery, a moment, exciting, appreciated by teenagers and adults.
This was an interesting way to learn about the Shoreditch area. Our guide, Patrick, was very knowledgeable and engaging. We were expecting to see more graffiti, this was more of a tour of neighborhoods. We were a little confused when Patrick took us into the Art’otel London Hoxton Hotel as there was nothing to see. He showed us a theatre room, where talks are given, and art is displayed outside the room, but there was nothing on exhibit. After about 2 hours into the tour, it seemed we were just wandering around with no true focus. The tour lasted 3 hours, but could have been wrapped up in 2.
We met our fabulous guide Hazel very easily for the start of our family tour. Hazel was throughly friendly & engaging, so knowledgeable about the street art and history of the area that we couldn’t believe it when our tour had finished at the end of 3 hrs. We had a small stop for an amazing hot chocolate along the way. Hazel totally opened our eyes to the different types of street art & artists - not just the painting. We will definitely not just look at eye level any more when visiting the area or any city. This tour is not to be missed and is a little bit different. Fully recommend Hazel as your guide.
Fabulous tour with a fabulous guide who gave us amazing and insightful and sometimes really humorous information about the art and the artists. It was amazing to see all the different styles and learn the history of the area, back to Roman times! Be prepared to walk! It is worth it.
This was a 3 hour walking tour of the Shoreditch area. Our guide, Pini, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We saw amazing street art. He also took us to Spitafields market. We had tastes of chips at Poppies, bagels at the Best Bagels store and chocolate in a fine chocalatier store. It was a great tour.
