My friend and I had a free night in Cairo that we were looking for something to do. We came across the bar tour, unfortunately it wasn't what we expected. Amr, our guide showed up Unenthusiastic, and claimed he only excepted it because he needed the money. And then made comments throughout the tour that were completely inappropriate regarding his personal life. We thought we would have heard history about the 4 bars we went to but that was not the case. The tour stated we would get 2 drinks included. Unfortunately, we received one and my friend and I paid for his drinks including ours, throughout the rest of the night. At the end of the tour he wanted to leave us at the last bar rather than to bring us back to the pick up place as description noted. The only positive that came out of this tour was we found a place to go to for the following night.

We had a blast! Amr was super, he took us to some great place, each one distinctly different from the others. We would not have found them on our own. We got to enjoy a different side of Cairo with no stress, just fun!

I was in Cairo for a few days and decided to go on a pub crawl as I couldn’t find any good reviews on local bars. I stumbled upon his crawl. It was an A+ experience!! We went to a total of 4-5 bars and at each bar we were really able to see how the locals drink and live their normal weekends. I had some great conversation with Amr the guide and he was extremely knowledgeable (perfect English) and was very helpful in pointing out the fun spots in Cairo. Helpful tips! 1. The party days in Cairo are actually Thursday and Friday nights as Sunday is the 1st work day. 2. Wear pants and shoes! Lots of places won’t allow entrance with shorts slippers Thank you for a great time!
Amr is funny, kind, flirty, and fun. He likes to talk about many subjects, doesn’t really follow the news and is a Trump supporter - so be ready for interesting discussions!
And is lovely, kind, funny, flirty! He knows how to have a good time. He loves Trump - so be aware - political conversations are odd.
I had an amazing time with Amr. We’ve been together for 4 hours to four different places, Amr has good conversation i did not get bored, is an enjoyable and cultured person, and really knew how to take care of customers. If I come back to Cairo i will deffo book this activity again!
