Amazing experience. Maasai Mara is an incredible place, and we were lucky to enjoy it with our guide Calvin. Everything was well organized from the start until the end (pickup, game drives, lunch times, etc…) The Rhino Camp, where we stayed, made its best to offer us vegetarian picnics. Dinners at the camp were self service, just fine, nothing to be remembered, with no meat substitute (like fish or eggs), and no yogurts/fruits/juice on breakfast. However, these are tiny details that we won’t remember. All the rest of this experience was above my expectations!!

This was the highlight of my trip to Kenya. Masai Mara is absolutely stunning. During your stay, you go for game drives; we watched a cheetah hunt and the wildebeests cross the Mara rider. It was fascinating! The lions are literally two meters from the car. You also learn a lot about the wildlife in that part of the world. It was one of my best travel experiences.

Castro is an excellent driver and a great person. He always knew where to go during the safari and got us to the best wildlife sightings quickly. He is a passionate guide who shares interesting stories and facts about the animals. Here are a few suggestions for improvement: It would be helpful to explain the daily schedule in more detail, such as approximately when lunch breaks and restroom breaks will be. Many people don't feel comfortable asking, so it would be good to check every three hours or so whether anyone needs a restroom stop. I understand that drivers communicate by radio and with each other to share information about animal sightings, but Castro stopped quite often to chat with his friends. While it's understandable, it happened a bit too frequently. One important point: if you leave one side of the vehicle with the wheels in a ditch and turn off the engine for more than a minute, the passengers are left sitting at about a 45-degree angle. It's very uncomfortable and can even hurt your back if you have to stay in that position for 10 minutes. Please level the vehicle whenever possible before stopping. Otherwise, Castro is a really fun and friendly guide. However, he sometimes drives too fast on the highways and overtakes many vehicles. Please remember that passengers should always feel safe during the journey. Thank you, Castro!

Vehicle Comfort & Leveling: Parking at a steep 45-degree angle for extended periods is genuinely uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially during long stops. We will coach Castro and our entire driving team on proper vehicle positioning so everyone remains comfortable during sightings. Driving Safety: Guest safety on the highway is our absolute non-negotiable priority. We take your notes regarding speed and overtaking very seriously, and we will address this directly with Castro to ensure all highway driving is smooth, cautious, and secure. We decided to do a Safari in Masai Mara and it was completely worth it! On the first day we were picked up from Nairobi by Kalvin and we drove to Masai Mara, where we could do an evening drive that finished with the sunset. It was so beautiful, we spotted zebras, antilopes, gazelles, wildebeests, elephants and even a cheetah. On the second day my friend and I decided to do a hot air balloon safari for sunrise and then we continued with the programme that consisted of a full day game drive in Masai Mara. We spotted more animals like lions, hippos, crocodiles and more cheetahs which was amazing! Our guide and driver Kalvin was amazing. The was very skilled while driving, always ensuring the safety of the vehicle and passengers and also he gave us a lot of very useful information, so we also learnt a lot! We would totally recommend!

We loved this Safari!! A once in a lifetime experience, being surrounded by nature and experiencing wildlife is very special. There is one moment I will never forget: we were alone with our safari car and all of a sudden a pack of young lions called for each other and started to cuddle playfully, a very special moment. Independent of the tour, there are many safari jeeps around in the park in the main season and they are approaching the wildlife closely, which is sometimes disturbing for animals. Calvin is a funny and nice guide, we were only women and felt very comfortable with him. Highly recommended tour!
