My group of five were fortunate to have been lead by Manar Atwa. She was absolutely passionate about her country's history and was eager to share her vast knowledge with us. Any questions we had or requests we made were accommodated with little fuss and a generous spirit. What a fascinating country and rich history! We had a 2-day tour guide with Yasser (guide) and Tamer (driver) bright is all over the city and surrounding sites. We went to see Giza pyramids, went inside Khufu Pyramid. The pyramids were amazing. Our children rode camels and they said it was very easy. They said it was the ride of a lifetime, very smooth. We also saw the Solar boat that carried the treasures of the Pharaoh’s to the tombs. Sakkara pyramids , the oldest pyramids ever built at Sakara. The. We went to Memphis the oldest ancient capital of lower Egypt. We went to the Egyptian museum (the artifacts of king Tut) were so many ancient artifacts and mummies. We went to the citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali Mosque and fortress. The local bazaars a Khan el Khalili were everyone shopped. The Coptic Cairo ( the hanging church, the cavern Church) and ate lunch on the Nile at Andrea. The second evening was spent sailing on the Nile and taking in beautiful views from the Tower of Cairo. We went downtown to eat local cuisine!
I had the Best 3 day tour in Egypt with Manar. She was the most Amazing, nice, patient, professional, knowledgeable guide. I'm so Grateful to have her take the time to show and explain everything in great detail about each site and the history behind it. Best Trip EVER. Greatest Experience EVER. The city tour, Giza tour and Alexandria Tour were amazing! Yaser was an amazing guide and this tour company truly made this vacation very unique. Very appreciative as everyone was super welcoming, attentive, fun!
Pick up at the hotel worked great, the trips in the private car were always very pleasant and you could just let Ahmed propel you through Egyptian history. Ahmed is super nice, speaks German and has an enormous knowledge of Egyptian history! There is also no shortage of photos, as he likes to take photos of one at any time. Also a short stop after each day to buy souvenirs is very convenient. All too insistent that you buy something nobody does here either, which was very pleasant. All in all a highly recommended tour!
Professional Guide extraordinaire Khaled Mamdoh and driver Hossam have to be the best - hard to imagine how they could be improved upon. Khaled is brimming with facts and is a great story-teller that makes for fascinating listening and learning! Our 3 days with the guide-and-driver team on this private tour was a lesson to all tour operators everywhere on how to deliver a delightful experience all round while maintaining highest standards of professionalism, courtesy and attention.
