Description

This 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga dunes offers an unforgettable journey through Morocco’s most iconic landscapes and cultural sites. Travel across the Atlas Mountains, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass, before visiting the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historic architecture and film appearances. Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” with time to explore the city and its cinema heritage, before reaching the Dades Valley, where you spend the first night. On the second day, continue through Tinghir to discover the impressive Todgha Gorges, surrounded by palm groves and dramatic canyon walls. The journey then leads to Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert, where you enjoy a camel ride at sunset across the golden dunes. Spend the night in a Berber desert camp, in a private tent with an en-suite bathroom, and experience traditional hospitality under the stars.
