We had an incredible experience on our Yellowstone National Park open-air tour! Our guide, Sherry, was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an unforgettable experience. Her knowledge of Yellowstone’s wildlife, history, and geothermal features was impressive, and she shared so many interesting facts throughout the tour. Sherry was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about the park, which made the day even more enjoyable. If you’re considering an open-air tour of Yellowstone, I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to get Sherry as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience. This was a great experience for a full day exposure to so many Yellowstone sites. We saw most of the major and most beautiful sites in the Geyser area and Canyon areas. Our tour guide Phoebe was awesome-very informative, nice, helpful, and entertaining. We did have some initial possibly-Viator-related communication issues. We were told to meet our guide in one location within the park and the meeting spot ended up being in a different place altogether, and so we just barely arrived on time to find them. In this park, there is no WiFi or cellular and so we had no way of receiving the text messages from our guide who was trying to tell us where to meet her. Plus, the day beforehand, I had tried to message the touring place through the Viator app to confirm the details about this trip but never received any response at all. So this is the only reason that I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. But Phoebe was great and the rest of the trip went smoothly.

This was an excellent way to spend our first day in Yellowstone. Especially for my husband so he could see and not drive. Our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area.
Such a great way to see so many things in the park, loved having the top down on the van. Shari our guide and driver was a wealth of information, super pleasant, and drove very safe safely.

Ken was a great guide. I showed up on time. He showed us and explained the history of all the sites that we visited. He timed the eruption of old Faithful perfectly. He gave us lots of good recommendations for shopping and dining in West Yellowstone.
