I would give this experience a 6 out of 5. We saw and learned so much and had a great time doing it. Our guide for the tour was Matt and he was kind, knowledgeable, funny, charming, witty and easy to understand.
Thanks for the lovely review. It was great to meet you, and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in London.
This is a “must” experience for anyone with a love for popular music or an appreciation for its early development. Our tour guide was Wesley and he took us through the West End providing a wealth of information and actual performance and anecdotal locations of many of rock musics most significant contributors including the Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and so many other bands of the 60’s and beyond. Many actual locations in a relatively small footprint still exist and remain in use today; and Wesley provided insightful information on various back stories and actual performances. Those of us with interest and an appreciation for the first decades of rock’n roll must take this tour. Thank you, Wesley for providing us a fabulous musical journey through rock’n roll’s early decades as well as other stories of the West End’s rich history. I’ll never forget it. Thanks so much for the lovely review, it was great to meet you both and show you around this amazing corner of London. Hopefully we will see you again when you next visit!
A very nice tour with the really likeable and entertaining tour guide Wesley. Lots of exciting stories about musical greats such as the Beatles, David Bowie, The Who and Jimi Hendrix. The tour lasted around 2 hours and took us through the narrowest and most inconspicuous alleyways in Soho. It was really great!
Many thanks for the lovely review, hopefully will get to see you again soon :-)
