The cruise operator cancelled after we arrived. Was a complete waste of our time. Wasted time and energy
Great time, excellent crew, and the trip was a great way to enjoy the city views. I highly recommend this trip !!!
Was a great sunset sail. Family had a wonderful time. Weather was perfect and was smooth. Went out around the golden gate and Alcatraz. Sails came out on the way back.
The Captain and first mate Mike were terrific guides and skilled sailors. As we passed area of town along the shore they shared favorite insider places to visit. With only six passengers on the 41' boat we had lots of room. It was a sunset to remember!
Small number of other group members made it an intimate experience. The staff were very knowledgeable about local wildlife and history. Laid back attitude. I only wish the weather was warmer. The staff had many blankets and jackets for us which saved the day!
The trip was fun and the captain and assistant were very experienced. The views of the bay and bridge were spectacular. It was cold going out because of the wind. I wished I dressed with a warmer coat but the Captain supplied a coat if you asked for it. I would do it again.
This was a beautiful cruise motoring out past Alcatraz then sailing back after a turn around under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Captain and mate were friendly, informative, and efficient and we were able to get great photos and move about some. A bit chilly but that was expected. Obviously more expensive, but so much better, than the overcrowded tour boats. A very personal experience - highly recommend.
Very exciting. Crew was very professional and willing to answer our questions. The captain also held the ship until we showed up. We were a few minutes late.
Great experience. Just know for seniors, there is limited "normal" seating. Captain Dave was awesome, making sure we, as seniors, had the only bench seating. Dave and Mike were very friendly and open to questions. This is not a "guided" tour, so if you want to know something, ask! It was cold, windy and a little choppy, and we didn't see a sunset, but motored under the GG Bridge, then sailed back! Very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Thoroughly enjoyable experience despite the weather being cold and grey. Our Skipper Michael and his first mate Ryan looked after us very well and made sure we were warm enough by providing rugs. They gave us lots of interesting chat and the two hours went very quickly. Only negative being that the advertising only says that boat leaves from Pier 39. Well, Pier 39 is huge and 2-sided and it would have helped greatly to have been told which dock it left from.
