2 Days Trekking & Atlas Mountain and Berber Valley From Marrakech

This tour was epic! Rachid planned every activity over two days of awesome adventures! We started day one with a hot air balloon ride at sunrise, traveled to a luxury desert glamping resort, chilled out at the pool with some refreshing drinks, he had a camel ride planned for after our relaxation and we got settled into our resort. Make sure you get the photos and drone footage of the camel ride. We did a photo shoot at the golden hour and had an amazing dinner. There was traditional musician that we danced with after dinner. Day one was epic! Day two was also out of this world. Rachid listened to what we wanted and delivered. We live adventure and we love to be immersed in the local culture. He picked us up at the glamping resort in the morning and we headed to the Atlas Mountains. He provided historical information and answered all our questions. It was like traveling with a close friend or a family member. We stopped at a shop with everything you would want. My daughters got authentic Moroccan tea sets! We next stopped at a women’s co-op to buy authentic Moroccan oil skin products. It was an amazing experience with these women, singing and dancing. We continued up through the mountains to an overlook with a famous hotel. We made it to the town up in the mountains to kick off our hike. We hiked for about 45 min to a beautiful waterfall and enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice in a cave under the waterfall. Sitting on the ground on these beautiful carpets and relaxing was so neat. We hiked out and stopped by a co-op carpet store where we bought five carpets and had them shipped them home to us. After buying carpets and jewelry we made our way back down to the town. He took us to a bathroom, which everyone needed and we ran into Rachid’s dad. Rachid’s dad has a donkey and he took our girls back up the mountain to our lunch spot. The girls donkey ride was so much fun for them and Rachid’s dad was awesome! The people are so friendly and kind. We went to a home and Rachid has the best chicken tagine and food we had the whole trip. After lunch we started our trip back to Marrakech. We stopped at a road side stand to get fresh cherries for the ride back to our hotel. Rachid also set up our transfer back to the airport when we left Morocco the next day. The level of service Rachid provided is second to none. When we return to Morocco we plan to ask Rachid to plan our adventures!

We took 2 days trek to Toubkal from Marrakesh. Trek is very well organised, they picked up and dropped off exactly where we needed, much appreciated. Huge thanks to our guide Abdul, he was just great, very nice and caring. The trek itself is breathtaking. Just go ! :)

Wonderful hike through a beautiful valley and up to the peak. Not too hot in July if you start early. The guide was excellent. Not a technical climb, but good hiking shoes or boots are helpful on the scree and loose rocks near the top. Tour guide is super helpful and can arrange any level of support on or off the hike. Highly recommended!

Our tour was perfect from the beginning to the finish. Our guide made sure that everything went smoothly. He was reliable, arrived at the time agreed, followed our pace. He was very helpful, especially with communication at the refuge camp and security control. He even prepared us traditional mint tea on the way up. I totally recommend to everybody! You will get the best experience with this guide.

This is a bucket list adventure. The guides know the unbelievably beautiful terrain and the very best of the cultural surroundings. I had the high Atlas adventure experience that I was dreaming of, with the help of organized, helpful, kind and fun guides. Do not hesitate. They make immersing yourself in this exotic place so easy. Worth every penny!

Rachid proved to be a knowledgeable and great guide and a nice guy by the way. We had a perfect time. He really helped all the people in our group by pacing the speed if needed. And he also told a lot about the local Berber culture. We really enjoyed our time with him. Can highly recommend him as a guide!
