Highly recommended!!

This trip was amazing!!! We took a minibus over the Atlas Mountains (about a 7 hour trip total) stopping every few hours for a comfort break. On the way out we visited Aït Benhaddou, a Unesco world heritage site and had a guided tour followed by a set menu lunch (additional cost). When we arrived at our destination about 20 mins outside Zagora, we left the mini bus and climbed onto camels with our luggage for a sunset camel ride to our camp lasting about an hour. It was beautiful!!! The camp itself was so much better than expected. Solid floors, sprung beds, shower and toilet block. We chatted with the friendly and multilingual guides over mint tea, had a 3 course meal, listened to traditional music around the fire then went to look at the stars which were incredible! A warm night sleep and an early morning to watch the sunrise over the Sahara. A simple breakfast then the same as yesterday but in reverse. Except no lunchtime excursion, just a set menu lunch at a roadside stop (additional charge). I cannot recommend this trip enough!!!
