I am giving it a 3 stars...

I am giving it a 3 stars based on the following, and strongly recommend people pick the 3 days instead of the 2 days, which is really a 1 day/1 game drive. If you have no choice, I guess it is still worth it, as Maasai Mara national park is beautiful, but way too short an experience. At the time when I booked the 2 days in December 2024, the description clearly stated 2 game drives, one on the first day (evening), one on the second day (early morning before departing to Nairobi). On the first day at the time of pick-up (which by the way was "outside their pick up zone, so I had to take a taxi to meet them where they were picking up everyone), I was told the Park policy had just changed and it would be only one game drive. So basically, you get in the national park around 4pm after 6h drive, do a game drive for 2h from 5 to 7pm, and at 7am the next morning you are heading back to Nairobi. I complained to both the operator and Viator as this is not what I had paid for based on the website description but didn't get any partial refund. I asked them to at least update the website so it is accurate for the next travellers. Also be ready to embark in a westfalia type of van for the whole trip and safari, not a Land Rover.
