A wonderful trip We saw so much It was fascinating Our hotel room at Hotel Indigo was out of this world!!! It was amazing how close to the town of Windsor that Windsor Castle is located. Everyone at the Castle were so nice. They were very helpful with my Mother inlaw who has mobility issues.
and another terrific trip with Rabbies ... we have used them in the past ... i appreciate that all logistics are dealt with by Rabbies and i an sit back and enjoy the trip, the sites, the travel ... the driver/tour guide was tremendous ... Nick kept us entertained at each of the sites but also during the journey ... safe, reliable and courteous! i have used the 'big guys' and found that they were impersonal and "another tour" to them .. you can tell that Rabbies prides itself on being the smaller, bespoke operator where the driver gets to know each person, where they are from and insists on knowing your name ... and we even met other Canadians on this trip! ...
My wife and I spent our Honeymoon traveling across England and Scotland and can agree that this tour was definitely our highlight of our trip. Being able to stay in Bath and having more time at each stop really set the stage. There is a day trip that does majority of this trip and it seems too rushed for these sites. We loved exploring Bath at night and taking a tour of the beautiful Roman bath house. Our tour guide Dan was AWESOME! He was professional, insightful and fun to chat with. His personality brought a lot of joy to the tour and would love to take another one with him in the future. If you have the opportunity for this tour I would highly recommend it and take the 2 day so you give yourself the time to actually explore.
Rabbies tour was excellent value for money, comfy bus, small group, great accommodation (although many stairs to the top floor of the Kennard) Our tour guide Carl was extremely knowledgeable of all areas, prior & very pleasant. In Bath we are at “The Herd” restaurant could not recommend this highly enough, it was exceptional!
Really great tour of Stonehenge Oxford bath and Windsor Castle. The two-day trip gave me enough time to see all of these places really well. The only thing I wish they could do would be integrate actual tours of Oxford and bath into the tour trip itself
On the advice of a friend, we signed up for a Rabbie's two-day bus tour that made a circuit from London to Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath, and Oxford, with a couple of Cotswolds villages thrown in for good measure. We had a great time! I originally planned to cover this area by driving, but the hassles of renting a car and driving on the left convinced me to take the bus. Rabbie's buses have just 16 seats, so we got to know many of our travel mates. Plenty of time was allowed for each stop (including an overnight in Bath), with the exception of Oxford. Only two hours were available there, so my wife and I opted to leave the tour at that point and stay overnight on our own. We returned to London by train the next day. The price was fair, and our driver/tour guide was affable and knowledgeable. We decided to book our own hotels, but Rabbie's can do that, if you wish. We also chose to buy our Stonehenge tickets in advance through Rabbie's rather than waiting in line at the actual site. It all worked out well; we're very glad we made the trip this way!
What a wonderful trip! I have to start out by saying for some reason I was the only one that booked this tour and date. I could not believe Rabbies didn’t cancel, any other tour operator in the states certainly would! My tour guide was Sam. He was such a nice young man, full of knowledge and quirky facts. He was a great driver and I felt completely comfortable being the only passenger. Rabbies, keep this young man! Each stop on the tour was awe inspiring, I can’t say enough. Take this tour, you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent two day trip of the English countryside, I cannot recommend this trip enough! Our guide Cristo was a true professional and made sure everyhting ran smoothly. Definitely book this trip!
Our driver, Carl, was amazing! He gave us specific instructions on drop off and pick up locations and he was always ready with a recommendation. The 1st day of Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath were absolutely fabulous! Enough time to enjoy everything. I gave the tour 4 stars instead of 5 because the Cotswold stop is terrible. I wish we went to Buford instead of the small empty town we went to. That is the only negative thing about the tour, everything else was amazing!
I would highly recommend this tour of Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath, the Cotswolds, and Oxford. Although it's a full itinerary, we felt as though we had ample time to explore and photograph each destination along the way. Our guide, Dan Richardson, was extremely knowledgeable and personable, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. Dan even collected our overnight bags from our respective hotels in the morning so we were able to walk around Bath without lugging them, which we very much appreciated. I will definitely take another tour with Rabbie's.
