Excellent tour! You get a lot in for just two days. Frank is the man and it was a pleasure listening to him speak about the history of the land!
The whole tour was perfect from start to finish, Mawande was an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide who helped make the trip run smoothly. Pick up was on time, the stops along the way were brilliant and the safari itself was everything we wanted. All the staff and rangers at the lodge were knowledgeable and helpful, would definitely recommend

While it was an early wake up, it was a great experience. If you are able, request Frank as your guide. Not only is he friendly, he knows the route well and created a special celebration for us on our honeymoon. One of the best parts was the ride home on the coast whale watching as we rode home. Frank is incredibly informative on the culture and history of South Africa, ensuring visitors have a real experience. We had a great time learning from Frank and the conversation we had along the way. The Big 5 were an added bonus!

Our guide Vaughan was very great guide. He is very fun and professional. We had the best experience with this tour. Our safari games were awesome. Our stay was great. On the next day, it was very heavy raining. But we got the most of it from this tour and were satisfied. We reserved a different tour in the next morning. But we even canceled it because of our satisfaction from this tour along with a bad weather. We highly recommend this company and our guide Vaughan.

The trip was magical! Our guide/driver Chris was super friendly, accommodating, and ready to make our experience the best. He told us about the history of South Africa while we were driving down and was very attentive to our needs. He even served as our personal photographer and shared his playlist with us which made for a fun an memorable time! The Garden lodge accommodations were top rate. We stayed in a chalet and they were very luxurious with private balconies. The game drives were exciting and the guides were well informed. Warm ponchos were provided and on the evening drive drinks and snacks were served. Jonathan our game guide was very knowledgeable with respect to the wildlife and we felt very well taken care of. The food at the lodge was excellent and the spa Was very nice. The only bad thing was the lack of time and a two day safari package does not give you enough time to thoroughly enjoy the lodge.

I had the most fantastic time on this 2-day safari. Our guide, Vaughan, was attentive, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable. The Garden Lodge is beautiful, and I only wish I could have extended my stay. The itinerary is well balanced, and the road trip offers spectacular views of several mountain ranges. I was also extremely lucky to be part of such a great group of fellow travelers. Warmly recommended!

I don't normally leave reviews, but my trip with Vaughan on Bokbus was such an incredible experience that I decided I needed to spread the word! I think if you are only staying in Cape Town for a few days, this tour is an ideal way to learn about the city and culture from a local while being whisked off to a magical safari resort experience that is both thrilling and relaxing. For me, some highlights included: - Stops along the way that not only broke up the driving time and allowed us to stretch our legs but also experience some tasty local cuisine and see cool sights like a huge stingray, beautiful pengiuns, and the amazing southern coastline. - Entertainment by our very knowledgeable guide. There was never a dull moment with Vaughan who clearly knows his stuff and is well connected. All the while, he kept the mood fun & helped our group bond and get to know each other. He is an extremely safe driver, which helped me relax and enjoy the ride. He was able to adapt plans perfectly, ensuring we got the most out of our short trip, even despite a bit of wind and rain during the last few hours of our tour. That takes skill! - Learning about the magnificent animals on our game watch with expert guide Jo-Mari. She let us see cheetahs in hunting action & magnificent lions, zebras, rhinos, wildebeest, antelope & more up close! The resort was truly luxurious. The photos don't do it justice... A real oasis!
