2 Day private guided Cairo tours

Driver and guides were very good but organization by Emo was a mess. We had booked an overnight Cairo tour from Alexandria for 3 people with 2 separate rooms in a hotel for myself and my wife and my mother. The driver dropped us at the hotel at the end of the long first day but when we went to check in the hotel had us all in one room and couldn't do anything about it as the booking was made by Emo. So at that point we were in a largely unworkable situation and out $500. The hotel tried to contact them but couldn't get through to anyone. I eventually got a message on whatsapp that they were working on it, but heard nothing more for a good 45mins-1hr. Meanwhile we've exhausted the patience of the hotel staff and ourselves as we just want to rest after a long day travelling. I eventually went back to the hotel desk after multiple frustarted messages to Emo on whatsapp with no reply and was told we had 2 seperate rooms! Never received any apology from Emo. Wouldn't book with them again.

This tour was very comprehensive and rich in Egyptian history. It covers the Pyramids at Giza, Dahshour and Saqqarah; and Memphis (1st day); and the Aladine Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Old Museum and the Khan el-Khalili market (2nd day). The tour guide Suliman Amed is very knowledgeable on this topic, patient and very accommodating. I highly recommend this tour.

Great service, Yusif, our driver was very accommodating, punctual and spoke good English. All in all a good experience.

I would like to start with the good- our driver, Yosef, was excellent. He was friendly, accomodating, and had a sense of humor. Our guide, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall, was very knowledgeable, especially around the pyramids and museum. The included lunch was good. The negative: multiple, undisclosed at time of booking, "special suprise" stops for "educational purposes" which were really high pressure sales stops at a perfume shop, a carpet maker, a spice shop, a cotton store. At most of these places we were seperated from our guide and taken to a seperate area alone, which as a single woman traveling alone with children, including a disabled girl, felt unsafe. In most of these places repeated "no" to purchasing was disregarded. In one instance I was questioned about why I was traveling alone and if my children had the same father.

A wonderful two-day trip to Egypt with fantastic guides and guides!! They gave us a full taste of the famous Al Khalili market, brought us up to the tower of Cairo where we had the best panoramic view in the whole of Cairo! We saw the stunning pyramids, the Sphinx and the brand-new Egyptian museum!! Thank you very much Hamad (guide) with Walid (guide) for the first day of the city tour and Robert (guide) with Ahmed (guide) for the second day in the Pyramids the Sphinx and the museum!! They were all excellent professionals, very friendly with a lot of knowledge about their country!! They made us feel welcoming and safe enough to explore the landscapes

Very busy two days visiting as many attractions as possible, amazing sights, the four of us had a wonderful introduction to Cairo and Egypt's history. Definitely recommend this tour.

I booked two private tours with this company (the first to the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara and the second to the Cairo Archaeological museum and the city market). In both tours the organization was absolutely perfect. Punctuality, professionalism and kindness. Our guide, Haitham, was really very engaging, he made us feel at ease during the whole time and was very fluent and confident in the use of the Italian language: which was a sort of added value for us. In a nutshell I'm very grateful to all of them, I would surely book again with them and I recommend this company to eveybody who wants to travel in Egypt without hussel and with peace of mind.

We booked this tour through the homepage because our hotel was outside the normal pick-up zone. We were picked up at the hotel in Hurghada and also brought back from the airport. We also booked a German-speaking guide especially for the children. He was a studied Egyptologist who was in Heidelberg after his exam and learned German there. Unfortunately we did not book in time. Our plane was on its way a little later, so we did not make it to Sakara in time. Still, it was great. We had two fully utilized days. Have seen a lot and can really only recommend making this trip, although it should have taken quiet 3 or 4 days as we were "only" 3 hours in the Egyptian Museum. It's incredibly impressive. Our driver was excellent. The chaos there is hard to imagine. I also want to highlight the service provided by the agency, which has always been in contact with us. All questions were resolved promptly. Our tour operator also offered a Cairo excursion, but only for one day. We stayed two days and stayed in a great hotel. In addition, this excursion was only minimally more expensive than the offer of our provider. In short: This offer was absolutely worth it. It was an absolutely private tour. We were expertly guided and had two great days

Abdullah our tour guide for this trip was Super Excellent. He was knowledgeable and very very co-operative. He made our excursions highly enjoyable without much of strain. We wish him all the best for his career and future. He deserves best.
