Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa, reaching 4167m at its peak. Your ascent will take 2 days and culminate in a spectacular and stunning view over the Atlas Mountains and the Toubkal National Park. Looking out from the summit, you will see that the High Atlas Mountains stretch out in 3 directions. They cover an eastward section of land from the Atlantic Coast to the Moroccan-Algerian border. In the southwest, they terminate at the Anti-Atlas Mountain range and in the north; and finish at the city of Marrakech. Great experience. Reached the summit with my daughters 14 and 16 years old. The company was very flexible in the arrangements. Separate from the guide company - If you have your own boots I would recommend as rental options were limited in Imlil.
Fantastic experience. Extremely well organised and will definitely use Imlil treks toubkal again. The accommodation at Imlil was very cosy and comfortable. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The guides were amazing. They were so in tune with the needs of the group and adapted the pace to suit the needs of everyone. They kept a close eye on us as we pushed for the summit and they really made it a very enjoyable experience. Thank you.
Amazing Guide, Poor Communication from the Company Just finished the Mt. Toubkal trek — the mountain was incredible and my guide was fantastic: supportive, knowledgeable, and truly the reason I was able to summit. That said, the company’s communication was seriously lacking. When I called ahead, they told me only to bring “good footwear and good feet.” No mention of cold weather, a 3am summit in freezing wind, or the need for a sleeping bag. I would’ve been unprepared if my guide hadn’t generously lent me a windbreaker and hat. Even the start was confusing — I arrived at the meeting point in Marrakech with no info about who I’d be meeting. A driver with my name on his phone showed up, but I had no idea if this was part of a group trip or private. No one told me I’d be hiking solo, and I wasn’t given any itinerary or briefing about what to expect next. The experience itself is worth it, and my guide was excellent, but the company needs to seriously improve how they communicate and prepare travelers. A little information would have gone a long way.
The hike was amazing and the views stunning. Our guides Muhammad and Lahouceine were very strong and capable while being fun and friendly. They knew the mountain well and had great local knowledge. I'm so greatful for their experience and dedication. They prioritised safety to ensure everyone made it up and back down the mountain with no concern. Thanks again. 😊

An incredible tour agency and guide. Well organised, great prices I couldn’t have done it without having Mohamed by my side; he’s super patient and makes sure you’re doing well the whole way. Toubkal Trek 2 days - but very tiring. Family of 2 Adults, 2 Teenagers. Collected from accommodation in Marrakech, met by our guide (Hamid) in Imlil and then started walking around 1000; lunch at 1230 and arrived at Refuge du Toubkal at 1645. Dinner, bed and up at 0430. Walking 0500 (with head torches), summit at 08:45. Back to Refuge for lunch at 12:15, start back down at 1315 and Imlil for 17:45. Return Marrakech 19:00. Guide was great, food (as cooked by Brahim) was awesome and filling. We stuck to bottled water - available at 12Dh for 1.5ltres at the side of the path and at the Refuge. We hired sleeping bags ahead of the trek (took liners) but not needed: Refuge was roasting (even though only 4C in the morning)- take ear plugs as snorers everywhere and 24 in the dormitory! Needed hat and gloves for final ascent - rivers frozen during the morning in August. Shorts and sun cream in the afternoon. View from the top makes all the exertion worth it! Trek in Morocco was a reliable company and great communications ahead of the visit with Hamid. Fully recommended
Excellent organized trekking. Each point of activity was just like supposed to be. Perfect helpful guide, delicious food. I've got recommendation of this company from my friend which ascent toubkal on september and now I can truly recommend them by myself.
