Important Information
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- To enter the monasteries, appropriate clothing is required. Ladies should not wear short skirts and must have long sleeves. Men are not allowed to wear shorts.
- • Please note that a hotel accommodation tax will be applied. The tax will be paid directly to the hotel and the cost is as follows: 4 star hotels - €10 per room/per night and 3 star hotels - €5 per room/per night. Please be aware that prices are subject to change.
- Please note that the tour doesn't include guidance inside the Delphi Museum. However, customers can visit it during their free time, using the Delphi archaeological site's ticket. They do not need to pay any extra cost.
- Customers can be brought on board any kind of luggage they wish (carry-ons, larger luggage etc). There is storage space available on the buses.
- The approximate return time in Athens is 6:30 pm

Marianna Tsigaridou was our guide and she was so full of knowledge and really made the sites come to life I would highly recommend this trip. It was specatacular. Well worth the money. The sites were so so beautiful. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Everything is planned perfectly. So nice not to have to think about anything.
Wonderful experience. We really enjoyed traveling with our guide, Julia. Trip was very thoughtfully laid out with stops every 90 minutes. Delphi and Meteora were definitely the best things we saw on the mainland. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Greece!

This two day option was a perfect way to see both historical sites in one extended trip out of Athens. Guides were very knowledgeable and helped support our appreciation of these very old sites. There were an adequate number of rest and lunch stops, and our hotel was very comfortable (4 star option).

Excellent tour guide (Sophia). Very knowledgeable and thorough but still kept things moving. Always kept us updated on what was coming next and what to expect. The sights were amazing. Highly recommend.

It is definitely worth visiting Delphi and especially Meteora. On this tour, there was a tour guide for Delphi and a tour guide for Meteora. After the visit to Delphi, the travelers from the four-day tour joined in. + Tour guides provided good explanations in both Delphi and Meteora + The tour group was not too large (about 15 people) + Pickup and drop-off near the respective hotels - Free time in Delphi was too short. At least an additional half hour would have been good. On our day, admission was free for the archaeological site as well as the museum (the travel price was not lower, and there was no time to visit the museum). An additional half hour in Meteora would not have been a problem. - Two additional photo stops in Meteora would have made that part perfect. Unfortunately, the bus only stopped where hardly any other buses were parked. It is certainly easier to park there, but those are not the interesting stops. Even inquiries did not help. Very unfortunate. Thus, the bus simply passed by the stop for the picture of the tour. - the dinner (buffet) at the standard hotel (Orfeas) was below average. It is better to skip it and go eat out instead.

The tour guides and locations were excellent. The stops for meals/breaks and accommodations were so-so. Overall, good experience for the price.

This tour was a great way to see Greece outside of Athens. The drive was beautiful and the history was fantastic.

Overall, this was a well-organized and enjoyable tour that allowed us to pack in visits to Delphi and Meteora in the limited time we had while staying in Athens. The coach bus provided was comfortable and was only about 2/3 full so plenty of room to spread out. Our tour guide on the first day when visiting Delphi was outstanding. Even though I wish we had more time at the site that would have allowed a visit to the museum, we were given spare time to make the hike past the Ancient Theater and up to the Ancient Stadium after seeing the Temple of Apollo. There was a tour guide switch at Delphi and unfortunately our new guide was really sub-par. Although filled with much knowledge, her communication abilities were lacking as she droned on in a robotic, badly rehearsed manner. Part of it may have been her lack of English skills as I believe that French and Greek were her first languages. She seemed very new as a tour guide. Meteora was spectacular and the tour of Varlaam was excellent although St Stephan's was less enjoyable given the crowds of tourists at this site. I wish we could have seen more than just 2 of the monasteries but it is understandable given the time constraints. However, we did make several stops along the roadside for great photo opportunities of the region. Lunch on Day 1 was quite good at the Villa Symposium in Delphi. We upgraded to the premium 4-star hotel which was probably not worth it. The Divani Meteora Hotel was nice but felt somewhat outdated. There was a private balcony that overlooked the parking lot and an outdoor pool that we did not use and these items are probably what distinguished it from the 3-star hotel. The dinner served at the hotel and the breakfast buffet which had quite a bit of variety were both of just average quality. In retrospect, I wish I had saved money on the 3 star hotel and used the saved money to find a nice taverna in the town of Kalabaka that night. Our lunch stop on the way back to Athens was at the forgettable roadside stop called Kanelis Village, popular with other coach tours. Overall, even though it involved many hours on the bus, this was a very good tour and well worth the time and money with the exception of our tour guide to Meteora. It offered good value and provided an efficient way to see these two amazing UNESCO World Heritage Sites in less than 36 hours without having to rent a car and drive there ourselves.
Great trip. Best to have the more expensive option. The hotel was great and the food was superb. The stores next to the hotel was the highlight of the trip. Beautiful artisanal pieces for furniture and clothing
