It was an excellent experience for both myself and my wife. Aladdin the guide shared some useful knowledge with us and made sure that everything was ready before we boarded the boat. Although the boat ride on its own is fun, going with the extra option of lunch is definitely better. Since we started the ride during late afternoon, there were not many people are around which was nice but it came with downside of having the heat of the sun. A late evening trip would probably be better suited if you want to escape the temperature. One point of feedback i would offer to the tour operator is to have a bit more privacy on the boat between the passengers and the sailor. It felt a bit awkward for a private tour when the sailor was sitting next to us due to the little space on the boat. May be a partition would work? Other than this, it was very enjoyable.
Worth the effort. the round boat was a good way to see the city with friends and family. I recommend getting the lunch, it was fantastic.

I spent a very relaxing evening on the Nile in a traditional Egyptian Felucca. It was an amazing experience. My guide Esraa was absolutely amazing as expected. We had a traditional sugar cane drink and chicken shawarma. Make sure you ask for Esraa when booking a tour. She won't disappoint.

We had such an amazing time with our guide Essam. First we were collected at our hotel and taken to The Cairo Museum where there were so many different artifacts, Essam was so knowledgeable and told us lots about the history behind the pieces. Getting to see king Tutankhamens sarcophagus and all the riches he was buried with was utterly mindblowing! After around 3 hrs in the museum we were taken to our Fellucca boat ride, where we were sailed very gently along the nile for an hour in the late afternoon sun. It was so relaxing. After this we were taken to a lovely restaurant called Caviar where we were given traditional Egyptian foods. It was all very lovely. Would honestly recommend this trip and in particular anyone who gets Essam is very lucky!
