1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi

Had a great time both with our driver Stephen and our guide Gomez. Both were fun, competent and genuinely helpful.

A great way to experience two beautiful parts of the Rift Valley, as well as a great drive that exposed me to the region's variety. All of my guides were extraordinary and very experienced, creating an engaging and meaningful experience. I would highly recommend this tour and operator.

What a great Day! Exhausting, but worth it. Pick up and drop off by Stephen were as easy as could be considering Nairobi traffic! We went to Hell's Gate and biked around towards the gorge and back. 3 hours with our excellent guide Gomez - informative and chatty - it was a real pleasure to get to know him and his wisdom in Hell's Gate - the Rock Hyrax was a highlight (oh and the zebras). We then went to Naivasha, a boat ride on the lake, a relaxing way to see the amazing birdlife of Nairvasha (oh and the Hippos)! I can highly recommend this trip for the price and what you see when you go - a tip, pack some travel snacks, and the sun is hot in Hell's gate - we forgot our sun cream. A hat wouldn't go amiss. Thanks to the driver/tour guide - I will be back! Simon

Stephen was the best driver!!! He was so kind and punctual, I truly appreciated his hospitality. In the park, Gomez was extremely knowledgeable and fun to chat with while we biked. He also helped make sure we did not fall during the hike through the gorge and took the best pictures of my friend and I! Thank you both!!!!

We had a great day at Hell's Gate National Park! David was a great driver and organized our day seamlessly - we went to the park, on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and out for lunch. Fred helped us on our bike ride and hike in the gorge, and pointed out many animals along the way. We really enjoyed our day!

We really loved our experience during this day trip to hells gate and visit to lake Naivasha. We really liked our guide Gomez at Hells gate. He was very kind and interesting and made sure everyone in our group was okay. He adapted very well to the need of the group! Higly recomend the visit with him! We also liked our driver Stephen, who was very punctual, very kind, and enthusiastic. Always smiling, helpful and accomodating . Very good driver also, we felt safe. Overall, highly recommend to book with them, and would say the price is totally worth it for the experience. There was not too much people at the same time, and the biking made the day more of an adventure, which we really enjoyed!

If you're looking for a day trip from Nairobi, book this one. Seriously. We chose the Hell's Gate + Lake Naivasha tour, with the cycling option in Hell's Gate, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya. We had already been on a traditional safari, which was incredible, but cycling through Hell's Gate was something completely different. Riding a bike surrounded by such striking landscapes, while watching zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and buffalo roaming freely in their natural habitat, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It makes you feel very small, but in the best possible way. Being there is a beautiful reminder of the wisdom, balance, and grandeur of nature. After all that adventure and exercise, Lake Naivasha was the perfect contrast. The boat ride was peaceful and relaxing, and we loved seeing so many different bird species, as well as entire families of hippos popping their heads above the water and wiggling their little ears. It was simply magical. The real stars of the day, however, were our two guides: Stephen and Gomez. Stephen was responsible for getting us everywhere safely and making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. Although his main role was driving, he went far beyond that. He is genuinely kind, thoughtful, incredibly patient, and also funny and charismatic, especially considering the absolutely wild traffic we encountered. Gomez, our guide in Hell's Gate, could not have been better. Warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about the park, he answered every question we had and shared so much fascinating information. Beyond that, he is simply someone you can have great conversations with about life. He made the entire experience even more memorable. Together, Stephen and Gomez are an A1+++++++ team. If you book a tour with them, you really can't go wrong. We would recommend them 1000% without hesitation. Thank you both for giving us a day we'll never forget!
