A nightmare

This was a truly horrible experience. I arrived at the pick-up point at 8am (a 20 min ride from my hotel) as directed and no one was there. The tour operator would not reply. I communicated with Viator who could also not reach the tour operator. Nearly an hour later, the person at the hostel (also operated by the tour company) came outside and told me that the tour was pushed back an hour. The tour operator replied and said they “couldn’t find me” … which was counter to the the information provided me about the tour being delayed. Then I was told by the hostel operator that the tour guide was drunk and wouldn’t be coming. The hostel operator offered to take me as the tour guide once the driver arrived. This was now an hour and a half late. As a solo, female traveler this all felt extremely uncomfortable. I declined to go. I would not recommend travel with Mongolian Vision tours at ALL.
