Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world and the best preserved. It is also an architectural masterpiece of Khmer. Its perfection in composition, balance, proportions, relief and sculpture make it one of the finest monuments in the world. Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple-mountain and the later galleried temple. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs adorned all the walls of the galleries are super!
We’ll enter Angkor Thom via the South Gate and then go to see Bayon, Elephant Terrace and the Victory Gate. Bayon is located in the center of Angkor Thom, ancient capital city of the Khmer Empire. It was built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to Lord Lokesvara, a savior god in the Mahayana Buddhism. Bayon is adopted by 49 towers, each tower is adorned with the four smiling faces. That is why now the tourists love to name Bayon as the Most Beautiful Smiling Faces Temple in the world. These four faces are smiling brightly to the four main directions. East for Shiva, South for Brahma, West for Vishnu and North for Indra. For Buddhism Meaning, these four faces are dedicated to Lokesvara or King Jayavarman VII. These Four smiling faces are dedicated to the four well-known precepts of The Main Buddha” Lovingkindness, Compassion, Joys and Sincerity”. Some of the scholars said that Bayon was a gigantic stone map of Cambodia which was dedicated to the 54 main states of Cambodia during those days. Bayon has 49 towers and 5 tower gates of Angkor Thom city, totaling 54 towers.
Elephant Terrace is a beautiful royal conference hall which is located just in front of the royal palace of Angkor Empire King. Elephants were used to transfer Kings, royal family and General to go from places to places and also used to transport sandstone from the quarry to build temples in Angkor city. Over here you would have a chance to visit the amazed sculpture of elephants showing their fighting activities on the wall.

We had an incredible one-day walking and cycling tour, and it was worth every penny. We were picked up bright and early around 4:00 a.m. and given a private tour of Angkor Wat before sunrise, which was truly unforgettable. Watching the sun come up over the temple and being able to capture stunning photos from multiple vantage points was an amazing experience. After that, we continued with a cycling tour to several other temples, which was a fantastic way to see more of Cambodia and take in its beauty at a more personal pace. Our guide was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, which made the entire day even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cambodia.
Hok was fantastic. He knew everything about the sites and was able to gauge how much energy we had for each visit. The bike ride was incredible and peaceful. We went exactly everywhere the advertisement said. Highly recommend.

An incredible experience cycling around temples, narrow paths into nature and local markets. Our guide, Mr. Hok, besides an exceptional story teller and knowledgeable guide, was also an incredible photographer and a fast cyclist! We were picked up from our hotel with a tuk tuk, dropped to the meeting point and cycled all the way back to our hotel in the evening. The tour had also parts walking inside temples, exploring and learning about their history, stops for snacks and drinks and coffee. Overall a great active experience away from crowds, and close to nature and history! Thank you!

We spent a great half day with Boy exploring the Angkor Grand Circuit. We covered a lot of ground at our own pace, with plenty of photo and refreshment stops en route. Consisting of mostly flat terrain, even the ‘off road’ sections should be manageable with ease by most healthy individuals. Boy was highly informative and flexible throughout. Having visited the main sites previously this proved an excellent way to complete our exploration of the Angkor complex and understand the city and temples in relation to each other. Thank you for a highly memorable finale to our visit to Siem Reap,

I recently joined a bicycle tour in Siem Reap with Mr. Nok, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Cambodia. From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient, making the whole ride enjoyable and safe.

Hok lead a great cycle tour around Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prom as well as some of the lesser known temples in the area. The cycling was mixture of road and trail and always felt safe and at a pace that worked for us both. We would never have seen half of what we saw if we cycled on our own, and Hok was informative and interesting throughout the ride. He provided plenty of chilled water throughout the day, which was necessary. Tip - if you are tall, it’s worth requesting a L or XL frame in advance. The sizes seem smaller than at home.
Dear Hilary and Graham, Thank you so much for your kind support and excellent feedback. We’re delighted you enjoyed the bike tour through Angkor Park. We will continue to improve our services based on your suggestions to better meet your needs. Enjoy the rest of your holiday in Cambodia — we hope to welcome you again someday. Wishing you and your family all the best. Sincerely, Hok
Mr Boy is an excellent tour guide. He provided a detailed history of each temple and lead us safely through town & off road tracks to each temple. He emphasised that the ride was flexible...faster, slower and that we could stop for photos whenever/wherever. Mr Boy lead us through less crowded (& at times empty!) corridors of the busier temples which made the temples much more enjoyable! He offered to take numerous photos of us, knowing the perfect back drops. He has extensive knowledge of the history & his explanations of the wall engravings made the stories come alive. Definitely a 5 star experience & would highly recommend!

Did the one day cycle temple tour - Hok was a great guide - such an interesting day and well worth doing. Picked us up with bikes from our hotel and safely guided us around the temples. Hok’s knowledge was vast and ensured any questions we had were answered. Such an amazing history and would definitely recommend this tour.
