Pantheon was spectacular and you wouldn’t want to miss. Nice having the ticket in advance. Guide was really good, but sometimes hard to hear. Headsets would be an inprovement
We visited Rome from 28–31 March 2026 and booked a guided tour of the Pantheon for 30 March at 10:30am. On Thursday 26 March, we were contacted via WhatsApp and informed that, due to “operational reasons,” the tour needed to be moved to 4:00pm the same day. We were unable to accept this change because we already had a Vatican tour booked. We were then asked if we could attend on 29 March at 4:00pm instead, but we had a Colosseum tour scheduled at that time. We were told this was not a problem and that our original reservation would be kept while they looked for another solution. On Sunday 29 March, Touristation contacted us again requesting our full names for the booking, which we provided. They replied with a thank you, so we assumed everything was confirmed. However, on Monday 30 March—only 1 hour and 37 minutes before our scheduled tour—they contacted us once more asking to move the tour to 12:30pm. We again explained that we could not make that time. At that point, we were told they could not offer a guided tour at all because too few people had booked, and the partner company they merge with in such cases only had a 12:30pm slot available. We ultimately received a refund, which took a week to process through Tiqets, and visited the Pantheon on our own. In the end, this worked out better: buying tickets directly at the Pantheon and using their audio guide cost us half of what we paid Touristation. For anyone visiting, the ticket machines are located at the front right-hand side of the Pantheon. Once you have your tickets, you can walk straight in, and the audio guide desk is on the left inside. The place is amazing! Based on our experience, I would not recommend booking with Touristation unless you are extremely flexible.
José was our favorite tour guide that we had in Rome. He’s an art historian and gave a lot of context for the Pantheon which you wouldn’t have known from just visiting the place. Highly recommended!

He is an amazing wealth of knowledge about the experience in the pantheon. Of all the time periods and the transformations of use. Second, just as biggest bonus, what’s the tour of the church afterwords I know nothing about Art and paintings but what he showed us that nobody ever knows blew us away. He is also well-versed in architecture and construction of the ancient buildings and churches.
