Walking and Beer Tasting Tour in Athens

Description
First, as Athenians do, we will meet in Monastiraki Square in the city center. We'll grab a coffee and do a "volta" -- a leisurely walk through the city to give you a taste of what it's like to be a local! The walk will take about 1,5 hours. During it, I'll share with you my love for Athens -- the hidden paths, beautiful backstreets and hills, its living history, and some personal stories as well. I'll give you a glimpse of the modern Athenian lifestyle, where we hang out, where we eat, and most importantly where we cut loose. We'll end the "volta" at one of the best taprooms in Athens. There, we'll spend 1,5 hours more, and during that time we will do a brief introduction to Greek beer culture, as well as a short master class about beer tasting and food pairing. We'll taste four different types of beer combined with an assortment of Greek cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits and chocolate, and in this way, I will introduce you to the art and science of tasting beer.

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We booked this tour a month in advance only to have it cancelled the day before. Then I looked up that the brewery the tour ends at isn’t even open the day the tour was supposed to occur. I had high hopes, and been left disappointed.
Dear Stephanie; I’m so very sorry as I wrote you for that cancellation. It wasn’t professional from my side, and I should have informed you in advance. You are right to be disappointed, and once again I deeply apologise. Just to notice that we were not planned to visit their brewery, but their taproom which is in the city centre, and it’s open 7/7 from 18:00-1:00 and weekends 14:00-1:00.
Beer selection was great. Learning the ancient beer culture. Suggestion- Carry a drink during the walking tour.
Spyros was a great guide (you wish you had his energy lol). We walked some amazing backstreets and at the end, the greek beers were the cherry on the top! Highly recommended!
Athens reached new heights with the Beer Tasting and Walk Tour! Incredible craft beers, insightful cultural insights, and Spyros, our passionate guide made this experience exceptional. Highly recommended
Τhe walk was so enjoyable. We had a coffee first and even it was hot we managed to walk most of the best spots in the city!
An amazing walking experience around the streets of beautiful Athens . Spyros is a wonderful and full of energy guide , his passion for beer is extraordinary . We taste a bunch of Greek handcraft beers. We learn so much from this trip and we suggest it without hesitation.
Excellent and passionate guy, named Spyros, with a very good knowledge in tasting in general. Really pleasant experience, i recommend to give it a try!
As i wanted to travel the beer "world" , i couldn't find anyone better than Spyros to guide me on this trip. Very well educated person , with knowledge about history of Athens and of course beers. We had a lovely walk through the small streets and hidden spots in Athens and analysed the spots and the history behind them. After that we closed with a wonderful and interesting experience on beer tasting with some unique beer pairings. I highly recommend this experience, you will enjoy every part of it!
Spyros is a very good guide: you can appreciate his love for the city and for.. the beers! He'll bring you around with passion and if you go on summer carry some water as Athens might be hot :) The places you'll go in the center might look like typical, but that's the beauty: you'll rediscover a classic, as a classic Pils can be done in several different and beautiful ways! I recommend also his wine tour in Athens, if you prefer wines better than beers. Enjoy paidià
