The Hassan-II mosque is a mosque located in Casablanca. Built partly on the sea, it is a religious and cultural complex, spread over nine hectares and includes a prayer room, an ablution room, baths, a Koranic school, a library, a museum, and an Academy of Arts traditional.

The history of Maârif dates back to 1914 when three English traders decided to acquire a large piece of land and subdivide it. These foreigners registered their property, unlike the residents of the neighborhood who simply surrounded their land with a low wall without any land title.
The Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church is a Catholic parish church located in Casablanca, Morocco. It was built in 1954 by Achille Dangleterre and engineer Gaston Zimmer[1] and is the second church in Casablanca[2] after the Sacré-Cœur church which is no longer used for worship today.
The central market of Casablanca is partly covered and offers a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of cars. Flowers, fruits, spices, meats and especially fish and shellfish, whet the appetite. You can also have lunch there.
The Habous district developed during the French protectorate[1], mainly from the 1920s to the 1930s to accommodate several families of traders from various regions of Morocco. This migratory movement is caused by the policy of Marshal Lyautey who is keen to separate the areas of residence of Europeans and those of Moroccans[3].

Due to a container ship spillage at the port of Morocco just prior to the arrival of the Sapphire Princess, we were unable to dock. The port was closed to all ship traffic in and out. Even though Viator claims a "worry free guarantee" just for these situations, I was denied a refund from their tour operator as they had less than 24 hrs notice. This has been an ongoing battle with Viator who only seems to generate simple standard denial refund letters. In researching online, this seems to be the normal for Viator. While I have had great experiences with Viator in the past as well as on this particular cruise, this has made me realize that their guarantee is worthless once the actual time happens to need that guarantee. I had notified both the tour operator and Viator at 630 am to inform them of the situation. Apparently this did nothing, as the tour driver contacted me at 820 am to confirm pickup. He said "he was never briefed". The tour company that Viator hired has never had the decency to reply to my emails or texts. I blame Viator for not vetting these vendors properly in the first place. I was able to obtain a partial refund from Viator, but they refuse to refund the other two thirds of my payment. I have since begun a dispute with my credit card company for the refund balance. No where in my receipts from Viator or the tour company does it state I am responsible for this situation. Viator has never shown me exactly where I am wrong. Viator said the offer "worry free guarantee " for these and other situations.

On the day of your booking, despite the unexpected port closure, our vehicle and driver were present and ready at the designated meeting point. We also did not receive any confirmed operational update from the platform at that time. As a local operator, we strictly follow the booking conditions set and managed by Viator, including cancellation and refund policies. We sincerely regret that you did not receive a timely response from our side, and we take this feedback seriously to improve our communication in exceptional situations like this. Regarding the “worry-free guarantee,” this policy is defined and handled directly by Viator, and unfortunately, it is not something we can override as a local provider. We truly regret that you were unable to experience the tour and understand your disappointment. If you are ever back in Morocco, we would be glad to welcome you and provide you with the level of service we are known for. Thank you for your understanding.
We did a private tour for 2 couples. Nice clean and roomy Mercedes van. Mohammed, our guide, was friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well and clear. He took us to the highlights and provided good clear instructions at each stop and provided good context throughout the trip

We very much enjoyed our tour today seeing the Hassan II Mosque and touring the interior, a very unique building with amazing architecture. We also saw the Sacred Heart and Notre Dame Church’s on our tour. There were several other stops too before making it back to our hotel. The Driver was fantastic and knowledgeable but kept our comfort and security a priority. He knew his way around the city so we didn’t waste anytime getting caught up in traffic or other delays.
