Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists. 13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village. It takes 10 minutes (6 km).
13:40 Short stop at the best Viewpoint in Champagne with a magnificent view over the vineyards and Marne River Valley. 14:00 Departure to Reims. It takes 30 minutes (28 km)
14:45 - 16:15 Veuve Clicquot Champagne house visit. Existing since 1772 Veuve Clicquot produces nowadays more that 22 million bottles per year. Guided tour though the cellars made by Veuve Clicquot staff gives You great insight into the history and Champagne production method. Tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne completes this experience. The tour started one hour late because the car broke down and they had to get a new car; no one contacted us to let us know what was happening. Once the tour started, it was very good, the driver (Allan) was very kind
