Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel VIP small group tour is the visit to the one of the holiest sites in the Christendom. You will walk through the Vatican Museums, a splendid collection of the Popes, containing classic sculptures and masterpieces from all time periods. It’s unique opportunity to admire art works by walking trough the Pio Clementino Museum, the Gallery of the Candelabras, the Gallery of the Geographical Maps, the Gallery of the Tapestries (Renaissance art), the Raphael Rooms (if opened).
A visit to the Sistine Chapel is a deeply immersive and awe-inspiring experience, filled with rich history, breathtaking art, and profound reverence. Nestled within the Vatican Museums in Vatican City, the chapel itself is famous for its ceiling, masterfully painted by Michelangelo. As you step into the dimly lit, hallowed space, your eyes are immediately drawn upwards to the sweeping frescoes that depict stories from the Book of Genesis, including the iconic "Creation of Adam," where God reaches out to touch Adam's finger in a moment of divine connection. The walls of the Sistine Chapel are equally adorned with powerful frescoes by other Renaissance masters like Botticelli, Perugino, and Ghirlandaio, which portray scenes from the lives of Moses and Jesus. At the front of the chapel, Michelangelo’s dramatic "Last Judgment" covers the entire altar wall, illustrating the final fate of souls with an intensity that both fascinates and humbles viewers.
Not guided! Due to Jubilee Year 2025, sometimes the connecting doors between Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica are closed, so the guides will be unable to take the group trough Basilica. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Our Vatican VIP Tour was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Rome! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized :no stress, just pure wonder.Marco was amazing! The skip-the-line access made us feel like true insiders. Our guide Tiziana was absolutely incredible :passionate, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories about the Museums ,Sistine Chapel, Raphael Rooms, You could feel their love for art and history in every explanation. Having a small group meant we could ask questions freely and take our time admiring the masterpieces. Seeing the light come through the windows as our guide described Michelangelo’s work gave me chills! This Vatican VIP experience costs more than a regular ticket, but it’s absolutely worth it for the exclusivity and the personal attention .It highly recommend it to anyone who wants a deeper, more meaning visit.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience on our Vatican VIP Tour in Rome! We’re delighted you enjoyed the privilege Vatican access, expert guidance from Tiziana, and the beauty of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. Your recommendation means a lot, and we look forward to welcoming you on another guided tour of Rome and Vatican City soon! Rosa
Personalized 2 person personal tour with amazingly accomplished Vatican licensed tourism guides. Missed all crowds at entrances and had a 1:1 experience. Our highest recommendation
Dear David Thank you so much for your kind words and glowing recommendation! We're thrilled to hear that! It's our mission to provide intimate, crowd-free access with the very best Vatican-licensed guides, and we're delighted that this made your visit truly memorable. We hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future! Warm regards, Rosa
The private tour is the way to go! I would go any other way. Skip the lines is a must. St. Peter’s basilica is awe inspiring.
Dear Chris, thank You for Your revew! Hope to see You in Rome again soon! Ljubica
First…this wasn’t a private tour as the tag line says but rather a SEMI-private tour. Second, they called at 11:35 to say that they’d moved the time from 12:30 to 11:30 the day before (never received a call or email). Unfortunately, when the call came, we were finishing the Dome climb at St Peter’s but said we’d race right over. After getting there by noon, they told us “our tickets had expired” and we wouldn’t be able to join the group (group had left without us). While they did refund the cost of the tour, it left us without a tour option for one of the more important things we wanted to see. Tour coordinator that called (Rose) was rude as well to top it all off.
We got an email the morning of our tour letting us know it was canceled. They gave no reason. The least they could’ve done is found us another one. On the other hand, we ended up finding another one through a different company that was less than half the cost. So it was lucky in the end.
Absolutley amazing!! We absolutely loved our private tour. We were fortunate as it ended up just being myself and my 2 daughters with our tour guide Sophie. She was beyond amazing!! She is a young 84yrs old...and has been doing this for 60+ years!! Her knowledge and information shared was simply incredible!! Sophie was also amazing at taking us right up to the very front of every queue and main iconic places and items to get up close and personal with our whole experience. We cant have imagined doing it any other way!! Totally worth the spend and experience!! Highly reccomend!!
They contacted us 2 days before our tour to tell us the Vatican would now be closed on the day we were supposed to go. It was a religious holiday so not sure how that wasn’t know prior to booking. We had to take the 3:45 private tour and they took us through the museum and Sistine chapel first so St. Peter’s was closed by the time we got done. We paid $741 for 3 ppl for a private tour to see all 3 and didn’t get in St. Peter’s so we were really disappointed. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable but she had a very heavy accent and was a little hard to understand. We really should of received a credit since the entire tour wasn’t completed.
Dear Amanda, We are sorry that You didn't enjoy the tour in full, but as it is written on the booking page, even on the normal days it is not garanteed that You can see the St.Peter's as this dipends on the Vatican, and sometimes they let us know the same day. Hope to see You in Rome agian soon!
Sophia was great… so knowledgeable! Her energy and excitement enhances our experience. Multi Bene! Well done Sophia!
