Sherif made sure we had a great time experiencing the countryside and the farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing break in the middle of our trip. The food we tried was authentic, fresh from the farm, and delicious. We had a late breakfast and lunch and they were prepared by the locals in the village.
About 50 de km from Cairo, there is this village called Dahshur, with a history at least as interesting as the one of the pyramids of Giza. One day spent here makes you wanna come back as soon as possible. Kind people, special conditions for the tourists to cool down and relax and such a tasty food. Was an amazing day in Egypt's countryside. Kids loved feeding the animals, riding the donkey and eating the food. Highly recommended.
