This was a wonderful tour day with our expert guide Sam. I can’t speak highly enough of Sam who shared so much knowledge with us. We had a great time seeing the many sights at Saqqara. Highly recommend this tour with Sam as your guide.
Our guide Hamada was absolutely excellent and knowledgeable and tailored the day to our particular interests. We also visited dahsur and memphis. Would recommend unreservedly
Terrible! Did he think we were just dumb tourists? He told us he didnt believe the earth was round, on a tour of Saqqara he ranted on about the Great Pyramid being a huge machine to generate energy and that’s how the heavy sarcophogii were moved. In the Serapeum if saqqara we were told no one had any idea if what the big sarcophogii were for and that nothing had ever been found in them and no one knew how they got there - but my previous reading indicated it was the cult of bulls and winches were found. He was a kook! I want my money back. $146 Canadian charged when reserving this trip, 2380 Egyptian pounds for entrances - most od which he pocketed! $20 US for the guide fee, $10 US for fuel surcharge that didnt make it to the driver AND $9 US we left for tip. I will never use your company again!!
I can't believe I'm reading this garbage! Why would you tip someone whose service you did not appreciate? You believe that the tour guide stole money from you, so why did you tip him? .. This makes no sense at all. About his knowledge of Egypt: It is part of his duty to enlighten you of many points of view and ideas on the places and history. We looked into it, and the tour guide claims to have given you comprehensive information on Saqqara as well as the history of the kings. It is evident that something in your mind is compelling you to say so! Is it because of the money? .. Is this your method of being reimbursed for services you have already received? .. We've worked with a lot of people like you, and it's evident that you don't measure up to the real Canadian standard. We apologise for having you with us for a one-day trip to Saqqara.
We had a great time on this tour. The Hieroglyphics in the tombs were amazing to see. We were able to get some great photos in the tombs. Our tour guide Warwa did a great job of explaining the Egyptian history and hieroglyphics in the tombs. She also captured some great family photos for us. I also enjoyed visiting the Imhotep museum and learning more about Imhotep. I would highly recommend this tour and Warwa as a tour guide.
