On this tour, you will experience the traditional Japanese culture of Geisha in a traditional Tatami room with an English-speaking guide. Geisha are professional entertainers who attend guests during meals, banquets and other occasions. They are trained in various traditional Japanese arts, such as dance and music, as well as in the art of communication. Geisha are well known as Maiko in Kyoto, but in Tokyo they are called furisode, which is a different name. Each has its own history, and here you can learn about the background of geisha and traditional Japanese culture. After the initial introduction of Sake and Geisha, we will actually drink sake with the furisode and play traditional games. This tour is recommended for those interested in traditional Japanese history, sake and geisha. Alcohol-free drinks are also available, so those who do not drink alcohol and children can fully enjoy the event.
