After a brief introduction to the temple's rich heritage, we'll set off on foot, immersing ourselves in the charm of Asakusa's nighttime ambiance. As we walk for about 10 minutes, our guide will share intriguing insights into the local culture and the secrets behind the city's iconic landmarks.
We'll start our bar-hopping adventure at an izakaya located on Asakusa's Hoppy Street. Hoppy Street is a lively and vibrant area known for its izakayas and street food stalls. Here, you can enjoy a variety of traditional Japanese drinks and dishes, such as yakitori (grilled skewers), kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers), and of course, hoppy, a popular low-alcohol beverage. Get ready to immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Hoppy Street and savor the delicious local delicacies!
For our second stop, we'll head to a historic bar located in the backstreets of Hoppy Street. While Hoppy Street offers a diverse range of experiences, this bar will truly immerse you in Japanese culture. Here, you can enjoy a selection of unique Japanese beverages, including beer, whiskey, and sake, all of which are distinctive to Japan. For our final stop, we'll head to a bar located within Hoppy Street, but more precisely known as Tanuki Street. This authentic Japanese bar offers a chance to interact with locals and the master of the bar. Let's end the night on a high note at this last bar, making it a memorable and fantastic evening!

Such a fun and intimate night. Tried some new things that I wasn’t expecting! Would recommend!
Ken was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took our group to great places to eat and drink. His food choices were great along with being knowledgeable about the surrounding areas of Asakusa. Had a great time with a fun group. Lastly, for all you Barbies out there, this is the Ken you've been waiting for.

I had an awesome time with my tour guide, Ken. I was a solo traveler and the only guest in this tour time, so it was just Ken and I, and it was a lot of fun. Ken spoke excellent English and provided good food suggestions, including what drinks to pair with what food, and recommendations for where to go for certain foods around Tokyo. He was also able to answer my variety of questions, including those about Japanese culture. I appreciated and enjoyed our conversations. He was able to help take photos and also brought me back to Asakusa Station at the end of the night and provided helpful guidance on how to get to my next destination. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend; thanks for a great night!
