Super nice guide, knew a lot, perfect alternation between listening and cycling through the city. We enjoyed it!
I had a wonderful time on the monuments tour with Ryan. I learned a lot and saw so many things I would have never seen without a guide. Ryan was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny! There was a short stop to buy a snack. Take some cash and a water bottle! This was a great opportunity for me to see Paris solo. Highly recommend Bike About Tours. The Le Peleton cafe is also a cool place to meet and grab a coffee before heading out for the tour. All the employees there were very kind and spoke English.
Simon was a really good guide. Our ten year old grand-daughter is listing the bike ride as one of her Paris highlights! Paris was bike friendly and easy to ride around (with a guide!).
Did the Paris Monuments Tour with my 12 year old daughter on a Sunday afternoon and it was just great. Our guide Hannah was lovely. She was endlessly patient, obliging, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things Paris. We really did learn a lot about the history, and the quirks, of the city. The tour was just long enough to really see and discover a lot, without being too lengthy or tiring. Highly, highly recommended!
We LOVE Bike About Tours! We first discovered them in 2018. Groups are small and the guides know what they’re doing and where they’re going. We enjoy the Versailles tour so much, we’ve done it twice. We’ve also rented bikes from them because we like having a lock and a helmet which you don’t get with Velib bikes. They were helpful in suggestion good bike routes around Paris. This trip we did a Monuments tour with Ryan who was knowledgeable and entertaining. We will definitely do another trip on our next trip!
Cedrick was a fabulous guide. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing, interesting, fun and beautiful tour of Paris’s most well known monuments.
We had a wonderful experience with Bike About Tours. We saw so much of Paris but never felt rushed or like we were weaving among any crowds. Our guide was delight and knowledgable. It was such a wonderful way to get the lay of the land at the start of our vacation. Our 5 year old really enjoyed riding on the back of the bike too. Would absolutely do another tour with Bike About Tours next time we're in Paris!
We had an amazing time on the Paris Monuments tour. The meeting point, Le Peloton Cafe, made the best coffee I’ve had in Europe so far (made by a Wellingtonian so go figure). The tour itself was a fun, active way to see the main attractions of Paris and learning about the history of the city really enriched the experience. There was never a dull moment with our knowledgable guide Hannah, who was very friendly and full of fun & interesting facts about Paris. It was great to be guided safely through the streets and cycle lanes, as it was a bit chaotic at times and could be challenging if you didn’t know it well. I’ll be recommending this tour anybody visiting Paris, especially people with a limited time to see the sights, and any kiwis/aussies craving a good flat white
Great experience. Our guide was so good. Very personable. Quite chilled and very good at navigating us around the city.
I went on the tour with my fourteen year old daughter and a family from California. Cedric was a great guide, knew all the basic facts - and some quirky ones too. Paris if great for bikes with lots of bike only lanes. Even so, it can get a little hairy at times - mostly negotiating other bikes and pedestrians. But still felt perfectly safe and it all went at a gentle pace.
