Their lives criss-crossed in the cafés and bars they frequented, many of which survive to this day. So when you need a break, you are never far from a watering hole where you can sketch or scribble your own masterpiece. One of Paris's most beautiful and popular parks, The Luxembourg Gardens were created in the 17th century by the French Queen Marie de Medicis as a setting for her palace. The palace is still there and now houses the French senate.
The Musee du Luxembourg became the first public art gallery in Paris in the late 18th century. In the 1920s, it exhibited Impressionist paintings and contained many sculptures by Rodin. Today it hosts temporary exhibitions.

The tour went well and was very informative. One audio stop failed to load, but that was the only glitch I encountered. Directions were accurate and easy to follow.
I had a difficult time with the map and following the lead. It didn’t seem to know where I was.. may I try the tour again?
