Maria was the best guide! We loved our Greek adventure together! She is kind and smart and so knowledgeable! Absolutely the BEST
We had the most amazing tour led by Maria from Travel Curious! I’m Greek born in the US and have been to the Acropolis and Parthenon more times than I have fingers on which to count. For our son’s first trip to Greece and the Acropolis, it was very important to me to ensure that he had all the relevant background and history while touring the sites. Maria delivered a 5+ Star private tour! I love that we started early (8:15 AM) so that we could beat the crowds. it was almost like we had the entire Acropolis to ourselves. Maria demonstrated in-depth historical knowledge of every aspect of the site, and I learned so much new information myself! Highly, highly, highly recommend Travel Curious and Maria in particular!
We walked, we learned, and we laughed. Maria was a fantastic guide who made the history come to life. Her extensive knowledge and clear love of Greece, Athens, and their history was contagious. Highly recommend this tour!
Wear sturdy shoes with good tread. ( we’re over 70) it is a walk uphill, but taking it moderately was fine. Go early through September, we went at 0815, before we left it got busy. Our guide was excellent!
I was overwhelmed with emotion when I got the first close view of the Acropolis. With 35 years of experience as a tour guide Dimitrios Pandreou has an impressive knowledge and suburb articulation of the history of this magnificent architectural and archaeological site.
