The temple of the French nation. With the Panthéon, architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot fulfills Louis XV's wish to glorify the monarchy in the form of a church dedicated to Saint Geneviève, the patron saint of Paris. The Revolution of 1789 transforms the monument into a temple dedicated to Great Men. During the tumultuous years of the 19th century, as regimes changed, it alternates between its role as a religious and patriotic monument. Since 1885, the year of Victor Hugo's death and burial in the Panthéon, it has been the final resting place for great writers, scientists, generals, clergymen, and politicians who have shaped the history of France. The crypt houses the tombs of more than 70 illustrious figures, including Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile Zola, Alexandre Dumas, Pierre and Marie Curie, and, since July 1, 2018, Simone Veil.
Embark on a culinary journey to French Brittany through the mouthwatering crepes at the highly regarded "La Creperie" on Rue Soufflot. Recognized as the Travellers' Choice in 2023, savor the authentic taste of French Brittany right here in Paris.

Great door great people great food. Great neighborhood great guide recommend amazing 10 out of 10.
Great food. Tried many new and different pastries. Great tour guide. Learned a lot about the Latin Quarter.
Unfortunately, my booking did not go through well with Viator, then the guide didn’t show up at a meeting point. I lost my half day in Paris. I trusted Viator, but the AI chat asked me duplicated questions when I was in trouble, which made me more sad to deal with it and lost more time to communicate their AI.
This could have been good but our tour guide did not show up. So we did the itinerary on our own with no guide.
Hi there, I’m truly sorry for your experience. A transmission error between Viator and our scheduling system meant your booking didn’t appear on our guide’s calendar, so no guide was dispatched. As soon as we learned of this, we processed a full refund. This is not the standard we aim for. We are currently improving the system for this not to happen again.
I participated with my 1-year-old daughter. We went around eating, and every restaurant was delicious, and we were full. Normally it's hard to go into a restaurant I'm not familiar with, but thanks to Aicha, we were able to visit a variety of restaurants. She suggested a variety of restaurants based on my and my daughter's likes and dislikes, and our preferences. It was a lot of fun, so I'd like to recommend it to my friends.
The tour was very friendly in the Latin Quarter, the guide very professional and close to her clients which is pleasant. Best way to discover Paris.
