Stroll & Snap:Your Private Portrait Session

Description
Hi, I’m a photographer based in Tokyo, and I have a deep passion for capturing the city’s unique charm through the eyes of visitors. I started this journey because, while many tourists come to Tokyo, I noticed that most photo services only offer a simple record of their travels. I wanted to do something different that truly reflects the pulse of the city. Tokyo is constantly changing, and I believe it’s our job as photographers to capture those shifts, from the latest cultural trends to the evolving street styles. What excites me most is rediscovering Tokyo through your eyes. Every time I walk through the city, whether it’s a familiar place like Asakusa, Shinjuku, Roppongi or Shibuya, I’m reminded of how beautiful and dynamic it is, especially at night. The city completely transforms after dark. I’m looking forward to taking photos with you that not only document your time in Tokyo but truly reflect the spirit of this incredible city. Let’s make memories that you’ll cherish forever.

Itinerary
Your photo will be taken with the Kaminarimon Gate, the large lantern at the entrance to Sensoji Temple, in the background. This is a special place that will make you feel like you've really visited Asakusa.
Nakamise-dori Shopping Street is the oldest shopping street in Japan, located between Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. You can enjoy taking photos while eating sweets and buying souvenirs.
When we arrive at Sensoji Temple, we will first take photos in front of the Hozomon Gate. After that, we will take photos in front of the five-story pagoda and the main hall. If you wish, I can give you a lecture on the etiquette of fortune-telling and Buddhist prayer. You can also visit Asakusa Shrine, which is located next to Sensoji Temple.
Asakusa Shrine, located right next to Sensoji Temple, is a place where you can feel the presence of Shinto, another major religion in Japan. We will take photos in front of the torii gate and inside the shrine grounds.

This is a very good experience with some great pictures that we are able to cherish forever. Yu was our photographer and he knew all the good spots in and around the main Asakusa Shrine area. Yu was very engaging and has a good eye for the types of photos we were looking for during the shoot. Our session was at night, so it gave an even better and different experience then we have done in the past. There were just under 200 photos taken for the shoot. It was pretty difficult choosing, but we finally settled on the top 50 photos. Yu touched up the photos (not that they needed a lot of touch up!) and they turned out great! Yu also gave us the opportunity to pick a spot/area different from Asakusa, but we all felt that it made sense to go a spot that he was comfortable with, as we were the tourists and he is the expert! If you are comfortable with another spot in and around Tokyo, I am sure you will not be disappointed either way! Thank Yu for such a great time and a great product! The whole family is very happy with all the photos!
Yu was punctual, communicative and overall did an amazing job of capturing precious memories of our families Japan trip!
I had a wonderful time thanks to you, such a nice family. Thank you so much.
We had such a wonderful time with Takada-san! He made everything so easy since he speaks English well, and he took us to some amazing spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Beyond that, he was so friendly and really made us feel like we were seeing Tokyo through the eyes of a local. His knowledge of the city and its hidden gems made the experience even more special. We can’t recommend him enough and are already looking forward to our next photoshoot with him when we return. Thank you so much, Takada-san, for such a memorable experience!
