I do not recommend excursions with Viator; they do not operate well.

I do not recommend it at all. It does not hold up to the quality-price ratio. I booked the tour for 2 PM, and they changed it to 5:30 PM. Between picking up the tickets at the venue and the guide who accompanied us to the entrance, and if we queued, we would enter the museums almost at 6:15 PM. The museum closes at 7:30 PM (the Sistine Chapel), and practically half an hour before, they start ushering you out and gathering all the monitored visitors in the Sistine Chapel. Since 7 PM, there are rooms that even turn off the lights. Therefore, the reservation has been absolutely money wasted; yes, there are lines, and the visit is not enjoyed at all. It is not worth what it costs. Additionally, there was very little collaboration from the organizers. We did another tour in Pompeii, where there was an error on our part in the reservation, and there was no collaboration to help us rectify it. I do not recommend Viator, nor doing tours with them; it is too much money for what they offer.

Operator response
