Itinerary
We depart from Sliema Ferries at 9:30 a.m.
St. Thomas Bay is a bay in southeastern Malta, located within the limits of the seaside town of Marsascala. Some historians contend that St. Thomas Bay marks the true landfall of Paul the Apostle following his shipwreck on Malta.
Dingli Cliffs are located on Malta’s western coast, just off the picturesque village of Dingli. They offer panoramic coastal views and are 253 metres above sea level. The cliffs are known by locals for being the place where the sky and sea meet, as they're the highest point on the Maltese Islands.
Popeye Village is a purpose-built film set village that has been converted into an attraction and fun park, consisting of a collection of rustic and ramshackle wooden buildings. It was built as a film set for the production of the 1980 live-action musical feature film Popeye, starring Robin Williams and Shelley Duvall.
Anchor Bay is a bay in the northwest of the island. It is located about two kilometres west of Mellieħa. The name of the bay comes from the many Roman anchors that were found here at the bottom of the bay.
Our first swim stop will be at the gorgeous, secluded bay of Fomm Ir-Riħ. With its beautiful azure blue waters and breathtaking scenery, it provides the perfect setting for a tranquil swim and a relaxing break. Fomm ir-Riħ Bay is a small bay in the limits of Mġarr on the western side of the island of Gozo. The area is characterised by a fault line, which creates an interesting landscape with vertical cliffs and a pebble beach. The bay and headlands form one of the most stunning scenic views and varied geology on the Maltese islands. The provider reserves the right to alter the itinerary subject to weather conditions or unforeseen operational constraints. If we cannot stop at Fomm ir-Riħ Bay, we will stop at another gorgeous bay.
Comino is a small, uninhabited island located between the main island of Malta and the island of Gozo. It is known for its crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and stunning natural scenery. It is a popular destination for snorkelling, diving, swimming, and hiking enthusiasts. Comino, with an area of only 3.5 square kilometres, has no cars and is mostly uninhabited. The primary draw of the island is the Blue Lagoon. During the summer, many people visit this bay with its sparkling turquoise, crystal-clear waters, and white sand. Santa Marija Bay and San Niklaw Bay are among the additional beaches found on the island.
Our second swim stop will be at the famous Blue Lagoon. Get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of this gorgeous lagoon! This picturesque bay, with its transparent cyan waters, white sandy base, and rich marine life, is the perfect spot for a relaxing and unforgettable break. Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, relaxing on the boat, or simply enjoying a walk in the countryside of Comino Island. We will stay at the Blue Lagoon for approximately 2–2½ hours, allowing you plenty of time to unwind and have an unforgettable afternoon.
Perched on the stunning North Coast of the island, not far from the charming town of Mellieħa, Mellieħa Bay is renowned as one of the most popular and stunning bays in Malta.
St. Paul's Island, also known as Selmunett, is a small island off Selmun, near the north-east of the main island of Malta. St. Paul's Island is sometimes split into two islands by a shallow isthmus, and it is therefore sometimes referred to in the plural as St. Paul's Islands. St. Paul's Island has been uninhabited since World War II, and it is the second largest uninhabited island in Malta, having an area of 0.1 square kilometres. The Acts of the Apostles tell the story of how Paul the Apostle was shipwrecked on an island, which Chapter 28 identifies as Malta, while on his way to Rome to face charges in 60 AD. Traditionally, St. Paul's Bay and St. Paul's Island are identified as the locations of this shipwreck. In 1844, a prominent statue of Saint Paul was erected on the island.
Situated on Malta’s breathtaking North Coast, St. Paul’s Bay is one of Malta’s largest seaside towns. Originally a fishing village, the area is known for its promenade stretching all the way to Qawra and Bugibba and offers spectacular views of St. Paul’s Island, where the Apostle is said to have been shipwrecked in 60 AD.
Qawra is a zone within St. Paul's Bay in the Northern Region of Malta. It is located close to Buġibba and Salina, and it is a popular tourist seaside resort.

Originally a fisherman’s town, St. Julian’s is situated along the northern coast of Malta and is connected to the town of Sliema by a picturesque seaside promenade, which also includes Balluta Bay, Spinola Bay and St. George's Bay.

We took this boat trip to Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon, and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The itinerary was very well planned, with plenty of interesting sights along the way, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. We would especially like to thank the boat staff, who were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout the journey. Their friendly attitude and genuine care for the comfort of their guests made the trip even more enjoyable. The lunch was also excellent - delicious food served in a stunning setting in the middle of the sea. It was the perfect complement to an already amazing day. We highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Malta and looking for a memorable experience.
On one of our last days in Malta, we booked a boat tour around the island. Since we had already crossed Malta several times by car, it was really nice to see those same places from the water. The boat was not too crowded. Everyone had enough space to find a nice spot and move around comfortably. We also appreciated that the average age on board was not too young, possibly because there was no all-day open bar. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good. In the morning we received a sandwich, lunch was extensive, and in the afternoon we were served delicious watermelon. The boat makes two stops: one for lunch and one at the Blue Lagoon. Personally, I would have preferred the timing to be the other way around. The first stop, where we had lunch, was a lovely place to swim and would have been worth a bit more time. The Blue Lagoon was beautiful, but also quite commercial, and if you wanted to swim, you needed to stay close to the boat. I would definitely recommend!
It was an unforgettable experience. We went on vacation, and it certainly was. We had a wonderful day with beautiful views, radiant sunshine, and very helpful staff. The food was delicious. Don't forget your sunscreen!
Wonderful cruise around Malta with a swimming stop in the Blue Lagoon. Crew were great and food was fantastic. Definitely a must do while in Malta.
We took the cruise which originally had one set of stops, but due to weather, the cruise destinations changed to both Camino and Gozo. The company was very helpful in keeping us advised of changes and ensuring we were okay with them. We were happy to change to another set of destinations and the cruise was nice. The staff was very helpful and the food and drinks were good. My only issue was the boat is a bit full and we went on a Tuesday. If you don’t get in early, you’ll have to sit on soft mats on the ground surrounded by others. Most didn’t seem to mind this, but it’s worth noting if you don’t plan on sitting on the ground for the duration of the cruise you need to be early to get first pick. We did do a sail by of Gozo rather than porting and that was not opportune as the water was just a bit too cold for most to swim and I would have rather seen the island. Overall, we were happy with the cruise experience and these are just notes for others to be aware of. I also saw a few other reviews about the lack of shade and I will say on the Fernandez 2 boat, there was both an internal bar and food area with seating and the rear of the boat was covered and shaded so we had no issue finding an area to get out of the sun.
Great trip around Malta, Friendly staff. Good Lunch. Everything went smoothly. I would recommend this trip to see all around the island.
Stops and food were good. Plenty of seating on our trip. Do take sun protection as we weren’t in the shade. Some of the bays were quite distant.
From the pick up to the drop off it was a lovely day. Free drinks on the boat, the lunch was lovely and cool watermelon in the afternoon. The lagoon was beautiful just very busy was not prepared for the rocky terrain
We booked the boat tour spontaneously via Tripadvisor. It was so worth it!! The organization and crew were very professional and we were welcomed super friendly from the beginning. There were snacks on board and free drinks as well as cocktails and spirits for little money. At lunch there was something for everyone and it was enough for us. We made two stops and were allowed to go swimming in beautiful coves. You could rent diving goggles and snorkels for 5€ and go to the Santa Maria caves for 20€ per person with a speedboat. We did the same and it was such a great experience. All in all, we can highly recommend the provider! Thanks for this great day! All the best for you, Magdalena and Selina. ☀️🫶🏻💗
This was an excellent trip and gave some new info on the island and the views where excellent. It's a pity I can't swim as the swimming stops were great. The lunch was lovely and a good selection of different food. I did the optional speed boat tour, and this was exhilarating, and for someone who does not swim, it was a challenge. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this trip.
