Rooftop Bar Hopping in Downtown Athens

My wife and I recommend anyone looking for great views and a great feel of Athens at night to do the Rooftop Bar Hopping in Downtown Athens. Such a good time with great views, it was a terrific way to end our trip in Athens. Sips and good conversation with our tour guide Chiara was a relaxing way to see the city after a busy day of touring. Chiara was a great communicator and really made us feel like it was a night on the town with friends.

We went to three different bars with great rooftop views of the acropolis. Chiara was our guide and we learned so much from her plus had great drinks! Would do this again!

What a fun evening! Dimitra was our guide for a night we’ll all remember for a long time (in a good way). We were the only people (family of six - four kids 18-25) for this three hour tour (maybe we went a bit longer?). There are several roof top bars in the tourist area of Athens with good views of the lit-up Acropolis. This tour includes three of them. Like it says, tour company pays for your wine on the first stop and a shot on the last stop. Each bar had a different vibe and feel. The second bar had a long line we were able to skip and it was the most “touristy”of the three. Two big advantages of a tour like this…one, like mentioned, no waiting in line because of the relationships Dimitra has developed, you skip the lines and go right to a table. Two, you have Dimitra with you who is a real interesting person and shared with us her personality which we all enjoyed tremendously. Naturally, our kids being similar ages was a benefit too. We learned so much of her perspective on Greek culture and life - hard to believe she’s barely 20 years old.

My friends and I were hosted by Christina. Christina is very friendly, charismatic and made the experience a blast. We all had an amazing time thanks to her! She provided us with so much information about the Athens area and the rooftop bars we visited had breathtaking views. The wine choices / cheese platters she picked were great as well as our seating at each of the bars! We had an awesome group and Christina catered to each of us! Her vibe is awesome, which made the experience even better. Don’t think twice and book this experience!

The rooftop bar hopping tour was awesome! Christina was excellent the drinks were amazing and the views kept getting better and better with each bar we went to! Definitely recommend.
