Itinerary
Here you are going to meet your local expert who will guide you through the experience and who is going to tell you all the secrets about roman food tour!
Our first stop takes us to one of the city’s most ancient bakeries, located in the heart of the Campo de’ Fiori area. In this charming, historic spot, you’ll taste the famous Roman pizza known as scrocchiarella—thin, crunchy, and irresistibly flavorful. It’s the perfect introduction to Rome’s baking tradition and to the lively atmosphere of one of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods.
The Roman Ghetto is home to some of the city's most iconic culinary traditions. We’ll stop at a local trattoria to enjoy Carciofo alla Giudia, the famous crispy fried artichoke that has been a symbol of Jewish-Roman cuisine for centuries. This authentic specialty will be paired with a carefully selected glass of local wine, allowing you to experience one of Rome’s most beloved flavors in its historic birthplace.
After the first stop, we’ll head to one of Rome’s most beloved fry shops: a tiny yet unmissable spot known to locals. Here, golden, freshly fried delights are prepared nonstop, and you’ll taste the city’s iconic supplì: crispy on the outside, rich and gooey on the inside, and simply irresistible.
What is the most famous dessert in Italy? Without a doubt, tiramisù! In the Piazza Navona area, we’ll visit a beloved spot where you can taste this creamy, perfectly balanced classic or a scoop of rich artisan gelato: both iconic delights of Italian sweet tradition.
We end the tour at a historic coffee shop just steps from the Pantheon, where the timeless atmosphere of one of Rome’s most iconic areas surrounds you. Here, you’ll enjoy a perfectly brewed Italian coffee, the ideal finale to our flavorful journey through the Eternal City.

This tour was simply amazing! To start, our guide, Luca, was absolutely fantastic. He was down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and incredibly patient throughout the experience. He was also very mindful of our schedule, as we had another tour booked shortly after this one ended. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him—we honestly could have spent the whole day together! The food was outstanding, and each stop was more unique and delicious than the last. Luca was extremely knowledgeable, sharing the history behind both the restaurants and the dishes we sampled, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This was easily one of our favorite tours in Rome. I highly recommend it to any food lovers looking to experience authentic Roman street food and local cuisine. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

We had a fantastic evening with our guide Stefano. The food was great but it was way more than a food tour! We learned so much about old town Rome and experienced less touristy spots. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. It was an evening to remember! Highly recommend!
