Itinerary
The Basilica of San Clemente in Rome offers a fascinating journey through history. The 12th-century upper basilica is adorned with a stunning apse mosaic and Cosmatesque marble inlays. Beneath it lies a 4th-century Christian church, built on a Roman nobleman's house, with medieval frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. Clement. Further below, a 1st-century Mithraeum, an underground temple dedicated to the god Mithras, reveals ancient Roman religious practices, along with the remains of Roman warehouses and residential buildings. The basilica showcases Rome’s evolution from paganism to Christianity in a single, extraordinary site.
The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican City or simply Saint Peter's Basilica, is a church of the Italian High Renaissance located in Vatican City, an independent microstate enclaved within the city of Rome, Italy.
The Mausoleum of Hadrian, more often known as Castel Sant'Angelo is a towering rotunda in Parco Adriano, Rome, Italy. It was initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. The popes later used the building as a fortress and castle, and it is now a museum. The structure was once the tallest building in Rome.
The Tiber (Tevere) is the third-longest river in Italy and the longest in Central Italy, rising in the Apennine Mountains in Emilia-Romagna and flowing 406 km (252 mi) through Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio, where it is joined by the River Aniene, to the Tyrrhenian Sea, between Ostia and Fiumicino.
Ponte Sant'Angelo is a Roman bridge in Rome, Italy, completed in 134 AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, to span the Tiber from the city center to his newly constructed mausoleum, now the towering Castel Sant'Angelo.
Ponte Sisto is a bridge in Rome's historic center, spanning the river Tiber. It connects Via dei Pettinari in the Rione of Regola to Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere.
Tiber Island is the only river island in the part of the Tiber which runs through Rome. Tiber Island is located in the southern bend of the Tiber.
Located on the west bank of the Tiber River, the Trastevere District is one of the most charming and authentic neighborhoods in Rome.

There is only audio available for the church, not the other sites. You can only get on and off the boat going one way.
Thank you for your feedback. The tour includes an audio guide for the Basilica of San Clemente. Could you please let us know where you read that an audio guide was included for the other sites as well? The boat service included in the tour is operated as a hop-on/hop-off route along the Tiber River, and boarding/disembarkation is subject to the river cruise operator's regulations and schedule. We appreciate your comments and would be grateful if you could clarify the point regarding the audio guides so we can verify the information provided on the booking page.
Very nice basilica and very nice boat tour but really not clear layout, lack of precision on the point of taking the boat, and hop-up contract cancelled last minute, but finally possible in agreement with the boat live, and live boat price significantly cheaper than agency price.... So a little borderline....

We had excellent, friendly communication from the start. Full explanation of the trip when we collected our tickets, including an app for the tour, a map of where to go and advice on timings. We were very lucky to have beautiful sunshine for the Tiber river boat which made the views even more breathtaking taking.
