We all enjoyed this tour with Barbara, a native of the city. She imparted many interesting tidbits of information as well as tasty bites of food provided by 5 different local purveyors. From the cured meats and red wine, supli (a Roman style rice ball) to pizza, yummy fried artichokes (a Jewish recipe) and gelato to top it off! We learned about the horrific specifics of the Jewish experience before and during the Second World War in this area and how the Italian government is addressing this in a more honest way. Thanks Barbara!
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! It means a lot to us! Wish you all the best for the future!
Da’Ghetto Excellent Welcoming and professionalism in customer care by the staff, with advice on the gastronomic route in the discovery of Jewish cuisine and kacher. Dishes prepared with skill and presented with accuracy. Great value for money.Surely to come back and recommend.
This food tour is excellent! You will receive interesting historical facts along the way! Great food and great guide through several neighborhoods in Rome.
Andrea was wonderful as were the stops; very informative and fun. Food was very good and paired well with Roman history and tradition.
We had a wonderful tour with great culinary specialties and delicacies with background information about Rome. Our guide was very friendly! We were really impressed and can only recommend the tour!!!
Square with many stands with all kinds of products!! Vegetables, fruits, canned foods, drinks, pastries, cold cuts!! etc. Very nice and well placed! It is also surrounded by restaurants, where you can eat very rich. I recommend visiting this place!!
This was an interesting street tour. We stopped at five different locations for a taste of different Roman cuisines. One of the most interesting was the Jewish ghetto for a taste of a Judaic artichoke. The walk through the area of Largo Argentina where Julius Caesar was assassinated was interesting. All in all, it was worthwhile. We also stopped at some interesting architectural sites. The guide was very energetic and enthusiastic in explaining Roman foods and history.
Our tour guide was the bomb she was full of energy and very easy to understand I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody
Definitely recommend if your looking for something different from typical sights. A Fun time experiencing local food fare. The suppri was a favorite. Our guide Simona was awesome…friendly & funny. Definitely ask for her!!
Very interesting experience! But very hot weather , no place to seat and a little expensive for the food. Matias was very nice host.
