This was so much fun! Our guide, Andi, was fun and kept us entertained. The pizza choices were all unique and delicious. We wouldn’t have tried any of these different pizzas and drinks had we not been on this tour. Andi even gave us recommendations for other food and drink places to visit later.
Absolutely loved this tour! We were the only couple booked that night so we ended up with a private tour with Ben, who could not have been nicer! She took us to 4 different spots and we were able to try several different styles of pizza. At one, she saw a new flavor (pesto, oregano, and chili flakes) coming fresh out of the oven and grabbed a few pieces and it ended up being the best bite of the night! For the final gelato stop, their usual place was closed but Ben quickly pivoted to another location and it was great! Ben was highly knowledgeable about the city and Roman food, and it felt more like hanging out with a friend who knows some cool spots than a formal tour. I definitely recommend this experience, especially if it’s your first night in Rome and you want to stay awake and fight jet lag while not having to worry about making a dinner reservation! You see some lovely parts of Rome and still end early enough to get back to your hotel and get a good night sleep.
Our pizza tour through Rome was one of the highlights of our trip, and that was entirely thanks to Andi. His attention to detail, incredible knowledge of Rome’s food culture, and overall kindness made the experience truly exceptional. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and Andi shared fascinating stories and insights that made each slice even more memorable. What really stood out was how welcoming and genuine he was throughout the tour — he made everyone feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to explore. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for his guests. If you’re considering a pizza tour in Rome, I can’t recommend Andi highly enough!
Andy was an AMAZING guide. If you have the opportunity to request a guide, he is highly recommended. The tour itself was amazing, great food. Andy was so knowledgeable. We’ve taken other tours and this was 15/10
