Great tour w Nicholas! We saw everything we wanted to see in 3 hours
Lovely experience! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun while also providing visual references. 10/10 would take this tour again.
Very knowledgeable guide, so helpful to see these ancient places with someone so knowledgeable about the history. Three hours in the heat of Rome was too much for us, I would perhaps split it into two shorter tours, bring an umbrella for shade and snacks as energy fades.
This tour was an excellent way to experience the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. Our guide Niccolò was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humour. We thoroughly enjoyed our three hours wandering with and learning from him (and we also had multiple water bottle refill stops which were much appreciated on a blazing late-May morning). I highly recommend this tour!
Learned lots about the Roman Forum and the Coloseum! Great tour guide!
Niccolo He was great guide. Informative and also showed us different plants. A great story teller. He was great to keep everyone together.
There were only 4 of us (3 others did not make it) with one guide. Fantastic. She was great, knowledgeable, and very personable. Would have rated that part as a 5. Problem is, we bought the coliseum and the gladiators arena. Did not take us to the gladiators arena. Very disappointed. She showed me her print out that showed just the coliseum. Told sorry, not her fault.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any disappointment you experienced regarding the Gladiator Arena portion of your tour. The area where you stood is indeed commonly referred to as the Gladiator Arena, and we understand the expectation to visit this significant part of the Colosseum. We regret any confusion or miscommunication that may have occurred regarding the itinerary but what you visited is called Gladiator's Arena If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We value your input and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with an improved experience in the future.
Colosseum great as was the guide, personally we did not think the underground viewing was worth the extra cost
Dear Stephen, Thank you very much for your great review! we are very happy to hear that you had a great time exploring the Colosseum. Our regrets to hear that you did not enjoy the Undergrounds as you'd hoped, however we hope you had a great time in Rome!
We had been to the Colosseum 5 years ago and did the regular entry. This time we thought getting the underground tour would add a lot. But unfortunately, it did not. You are taken to a couple of spots under the partial floor that has been constructed and that is basically it. In addition, instead of doing the Colosseum first than then moving on to the Forum and Palatine, it was the opposite. We first went to one area of Palatine overlooking the Forum and then did a quick walk through of the Forum area. We realize there may have been timing issues, but to go back to Palatine and the Forum later would have required another admission ticket. If we had done the Colosseum first, we could have continued in the other areas on our own. Disappointing. Our guide was fine, just rushed.
Thank you for your feedback on the tour you made with us. We are sorry to hear that it did not meet your expectations and we will certainly do our best to improve our service. We have taken your feedback to our consideration.
We had a fantastic guide Diego who was very informative and detailed. His back group is engineering which added a lot as most of the explanation was related to how the colosseum was built and the material used etc. He covered every tiny details and the tour even lasted longer than it should. It was nice of him giving us easter egg small chocolates. Me and my husband enjoyed the tour a lot and we think we were very lucky being guided by Diego. This tour is 4 hours very informative and detailed for who like to know the details of structure and building, engineers would love it more than others. It gives you time to take pictures and rest along the tour.
