The piano concerts are dedicated to the outstanding and most popular Polish composer - Fryderyk Chopin. His works resound in concert halls all over the world. During the solo concert, the pianist will present his most famous compositions, such as: Impromtu Fantaisie, Preludes and Scherzo No. 2. Chopin visited Italy only once during his life - Genoa - but while living in Warsaw, he encountered the music and culture of the Apennine Peninsula because of the Italians living in Warsaw who were around him. Alongside works by Fryderyk Chopin, we will hear truly Italian compositions in unique arrangements for solo piano by composers such as G. Verdi, P. Mascagni and G. Puccini. What also makes the concerts unique are the exceptional venue, architectural gem with superb acoustics - the Waldensian Church in Rome. A unique opportunity to enjoy a piano concert in a church.

It was beautiful. I loved it. The pianist was great. A real moment of break in this constantly changing city. A suspension of grace and blessing in a sacred place.
I recently attended the "Chopin & Italian Friends" concert at the Chiesa Valdese and it was a fantastic experience. The venue is beautiful and intimate, with incredible acoustics that make the piano sound rich and clear. It’s the perfect escape from the busy streets of Rome. The pianist was superb, showing great technical skill and deep emotion, especially during the Chopin pieces. The program was well-balanced and very moving. A must-see for music lovers visiting Rome. Highly recommended!
Lovely music in beautiful setting. Nice venue. Good for the kids to hear some live music. Also quiet company. We enjoyed it.
Chopin and friends tonight was a real treat. The pianist was excellent and we loved listening to him play, as well as explaining a little of the history for each piece. Definitely worth a visit and we’ll definitely look out for more concerts when we next return.
Chopin's areas so much technique little soul, plus he seemed in a hurry to leave. Garshwin much better, good.

The pianist gave a beautiful performance and explanations of the pieces she was playing. It was a small group which made for a very intimate performance. The venue was nice and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The pews were very creaky so maybe not ideal for small children who can’t sit still as the whole room would hear any movement you made.
Nice atmosphere and great music. Very competent pianist but maybe the piano needs a slight tuning. :) pieces actually played did not match with the programme on the website but all in all some very beautiful and well known pieces by Chopin, Debussy and Beethoven together with Respighi. Easily worth the money.
