Really enjoyed the walking tour to eat the best local produce and learn more about the history of the area. Options for vegetarians.
Francesca was so sweet, funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about Roman food and history! We had such an incredible time on this tour, the food was absolutely delicious and we ate at smaller, family owned businesses! Thank you Francesca for introducing this side of Rome to us!
Our tour experience with Ramona was exceptional. It felt like exploring that part of Rome with a local friend. She added rich history and context to everything we saw and ate, and she answered all of our questions easily and thoughtfully. We highly recommend her and the tour!
Very interesting/fun tour! Totally recommend. Six people sampling pizza, cured meats, cheese, wine, olive oil and gelato! Our guide, a knowledgeable woman (Fabrizia, I believe) was charming. Ghetto portion was somewhat brief but enlightening! Very glad I chose this tour!
Great experience. You see and taste different parts of the city accompanied by history and humor. Our guide was fantastic!
Barbara, our tour guide was very friendly and upbeat. We were not impressed with the overview of the Jewish ghetto. It hardly provided any insight into the history except for a very high-level overview. It was described as a Jewish ghetto food tour however, only one of the items (artichoke hearts which are actually more Greek or Mediterranean) close to Jewish food. The other food served was pork based sliced meat (which is truly are not Jewish food), pizza, breaded fried rice balls with cheese, and gelato; all mainly just Italian food that was from restaurants serving in the ghetto. It was fun meeting others. For future guests, we would recommend including more historical information about the ghetto and adjusting the food selected or tasting.
Tizitiano led our small group through a charming, educational and delicious evening food tour. His personable manner made us feel so welcome on our first night in Rome. We highly recommend his tour.
The guide,Greta, did a great job. Perfect micture of sightseeing and food tasting; string recommendation.
