We were on a company incentive with 21 colleagues to the "authentic" Pasta & Tiramisù cooking class. It started with the fact that we thought the cooking class takes place in the mentioned restaurant Trattoria Lungarette in Trasevere, which came across very identically in the pictures. This was not the case - but a few metres away, there was a discreet door and behind it were windowless rooms lit with cold neon light. The rooms were just tasteless and everything was very dingy. There were tables there with not-quite-clean pasta machines. The tables were covered with tablecloths that were full of stains. In the coffee bowl for the tiramisu were fruit flies, etc. The toilets, were also dirty. Our younger generation didn't eat any of the cooked food and they went out for pizza after class. The only thing that was good was the wine ;-) It was really delicious and also high quality in comparison.
We had a lovely experience making pasta as a family. Andrea was fantastically upbeat, happy and encouraging. Thank you!
It was so much fun!! Andrea was amazing! Definitely recommend! Also unlimited prosecco and wine!!
Patrick is awesome! Such a great experience. Nina was also so informative and friendly. Loved this entire experience would recommend 10/10.
This was the best food experience ever!! From the waitress’ greeting to the wrapped leftover send-off (Limoncello shots) every aspect was divine! Yummy, generous appetizers (the fried cod!) and each additional course (with wine) of freshly made foods exceeded expectations!!
This was a great tour/cooking class. It was fun. We had fun and cooking with chefs Duccio and his partner chef. We made pizza and had some gelato. We did not ask to put pineapple on pizza, Mama Mia, don't do that! After you make your pizza and cook it, you eat it. If you want something fun and interactive, consider taking this tour/cooking class.
I joined the Roman Restaurant Food today, and it exceeded my expectations from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of great food, great wine, great people, great history with the greatest guide, Silvia! She was so knowledgeable about the food, paired perfectly with wine, culture and location. The four hours flew by, and I got to meet some really nice people! Highly recommend and ask for Silvia..
I highly recommend this tour, our host Vincenzo had such a love for food and wine, we had so much to eat and drink, food was so authentic and amazing,
Vivien was the best tour guide who was both informative and generous. We enjoyed our tour immensely and would recommend the experience to anyone.
Easy to find near The Vatican and excellent service with delicious food and English-speaking waiters and waitresses
