Hop aboard a comfortable electric golf cart for an impressive underground tour of the Appian Way Catacombs. This journey takes you back to the 3rd century AD, exploring Rome's intriguing history, away from the city's chaos and traffic. Our driver will transport you safely to one of Rome's most hidden and curious destinations: the first Christian catacombs, a place of burial and worship for early Christians. An official guide will introduce you to the history of this ancient site during a 40-minute visit. You'll be amazed and fascinated by the mysteries of these extensive labyrinths of tombs, sepulchers, and sacred places, uncovering a lesser-known side of Rome's history. The golf cart shuttle departs from our office near the Colosseum, heading towards the Via Appia Antica, the queen of ancient Roman roads, within one of the world's most beautiful and extensive archaeological parks.

Heading to Appian Way we will admire from the board of our cart the Baths of Caracalla were likely built between AD 212 (or 211) and 216/217, during the reigns of emperors Septimius Severus and Caracalla.

Traveling by golf cart was a great way to visit a few sites in Rome and visit the Catacombs. We had trouble finding the meet-up location and arrived a little late, however Christina was very understanding and was determined to show us around and get us to the Catacombs on time. We throughly enjoyed the ride and seeing the beautiful Appian Way. Thanks Christina for a great start of our Italian vacation.
Very nice tour, Christina was a great host and the guide for the tour of the Catacombs was very knowledgeable.
The catacombs are a historical landmark. The section on the tour has had all of the bones removed. The drive down the Appian Way was as interesting as the catacombs

In many sections, remains are no longer visible due to conservation, preservation efforts, and respect for the site’s religious and cultural significance, which is why the experience focuses on the historical context and underground architecture rather than exposed remains. Cristina was passionate and very experienced on our golf cart tour of the Appian Way and Catacombs. She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. Cristina was wonderful! She was fantastic with our kids, and gave us lots of information as we drove to the catacombs about the parts of the city we drove past (Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, etc). The catacombs were absolutely unreal - hard to believe there were over 500,000 people buried at one point! Highly recommend this tour!

In a city such as rome its great to walk around and see the sites, I would have never thought about a golf cart tour. The tour allowed me to see sites in rome and not walk too much. The tour was on time and had a good amount of history and detail Cristina really did a great job managing this event. The catacombs was a great experience too an amazing experience overall.

Great early morning tour at 9 am with Cristina. Beautiful drive to Catacombs on golf cart. The tour guide at catacombs was great as well. We beat the heat and crowds and were first in the catacombs. Would highly recommend
