This walking tour through the heart of Rome, where ancient history, legends, and lively local culture intertwine at every corner. We begin at the iconic Piazza del Colosseo, in the shadow of the world’s most famous amphitheater, following Via dei Fori Imperiali, a grand avenue lined with the ruins of Rome’s imperial past. Along the way, your guide will share not historical facts, legends and spicy stories about the powerful—and sometimes scandalous—leaders who shaped ancient Rome. Our path continues to Piazza Venezia, the bustling crossroads of the city, and onward to the impressive Foro di Traiano. We’ll then explore the charming Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, a lively square beloved by locals, before wandering the picturesque streets of Rione Monti, one of Rome’s oldest neighborhoods aka suburra. To end our experience on a sparkling note, our final stop will be a welcoming local bar, where you’ll learn how to prepare iconic Italian Spritz. Salute, and enjoy the journey!

The tour starts by the Colosseum, an icon of the Eternal City and an arena for combat in ancient times.
Next, we walk down Via dei Fori Imperiali and into Monti, the first rione or neighbourhood of Rome
Our exploration of the city draws to a close at the busy hub Piazza Venezia, in one of the bars to have a refreshing drink.
