Description

Embark on an unforgettable afternoon tour of the Champagne region, starting in Reims at 2:00 pm, right in front of the Reims Centre train station's tourist office (address: Cour de la Gare, 51100 Reims). This tour will take you to the charming village of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, where you’ll explore its rich history and visit the church where Dom Pérignon is buried. Then, visit two family-run Champagne producers, where you’ll learn about the traditional methods of Champagne production. At each winery, you’ll enjoy three tastings of their signature Champagnes, providing you with a comprehensive and immersive experience. By the end of the day, you’ll have tasted a total of six distinct Champagnes and gained a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind this iconic beverage. The tour will conclude at 6:30 pm, returning you to the starting point at the Reims Centre train station’s tourist office.

This was a perfect tour...

This was a perfect tour of Champagne! Our guide was very knowledgeable and champagne, the processes used to make it, and the region in general. And the tastings we were taken to were incredible!!

This was such a fun tour!...

Fantastic tour!

It was an excellent experience. We know two small champagne producers. Anna is an excellent guide and an acquaintance with the process of producing Champagne. Super we indicate.

One awesome tour

Fun & Informative

Our guide Thomas, was very informative! We learned a lot of history and the process of making champagne. The 6 glasses were generous pours and enjoyed by all!!!

Beautiful day out

Fabulous day. 2 champagne houses and a visit to a grave (we didn't get to see this as church was closed for a wedding but we did meet the bride). Guide very helpful very nice and local.
