Quick Cairo Layover to Giza Pyramids, Museum, Bazaar from Airport

We had an excellent experience with our guide and driver during our day trip in Egypt. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight throughout the day, which made the experience even more memorable. His love of the history is contagious! We also felt very safe and well taken care of the entire time, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while traveling. Both the guide and driver were professional, friendly, and accommodating. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt!

We had a one-day layover in Cairo and made the most of it with a trip to the Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and a felucca ride on the Nile. Our guide, Sabry, provided tons of detail on Egyptian history and culture as we drove through the city, noting various landmarks along the way. As it was our second visit to Cairo, he pointed out many changes to the city that had happened since our last visit, along with other recent happenings. In particular, both the Pyramids and GEM (despite not being fully opened) were highlights, in particular with improvements to the Pyramids and Sphinx making the trip a much more pleasant experience, and the GEM poised to be an modern upgrade over the venerable but aging Egyptian Museum. Sabry had an encyclopedic knowledge of both sites and their contents - even the brand-new museum. The process of arranging the tour was also perfect. The office was responsive and customized the tour so that we were able to start immediately upon landing and were not doing the exact same activities that we had done in our prior visit to Cairo. The pricing was also very competitive and altogether the great experience and customer service led to us to book with Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours over the agency we had used in our prior visit.

We were a group on 7 people aged 65-86. Headed to another place in Africa with a 2 day layover in Egypt 10-12 August. I have traveled all but two continents. However, Walid Fathy of Egypt Tailormade Tours helped me plan what turned out to be one of the most informative and delightful trips I have ever experienced. My only regret is we were not able to stay longer. I cannot say enough about our guide Sabry. Mere words cannot describe the heartfelt experience we had touring through historical and present Egypt with this wonderful man as our tour guide. He is kindness, professionalism and expertise made our trip interesting and enjoyable. From the moment we were picked up from the airport until our return we felt welcomed, safe and in good hands. Although two in our group had limited mobility and needed to ride their scooters from time to time, we were able to see and do so much! Sabry exposed us to the history of Egypt from a grassroots level and shared stories and provided experiences that connected you to the people and the country with humility, humanity and pride. We were amazed by the might and majesty of the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the beauty and grandeur of the museums. We were delighted by the food and display of items we saw to purchase. And we were entertained by Sabry himself and some of the experiences we had during the tour. The photo tricks and tips along with the Nile River cruise were wonderful. The driver was efficient and made us feel secure in the midst of busy traffic and Sabry was a phenomenal guide. He is one of the friendliest most knowledgeable guides that I have ever met. His kindness and selflessness, his care and concern for guests and his good hearted nature made you feel so connected to the country, the people and their importance in world history and our current landscape as we are all connected as human beings living on this earth. I came away from this experience holding Egypt in my heart, feeling blessed to have been able to have the opportunity to travel to Egypt guided by Sabry and determined to return and let others know they need to go. Our tour guide was Mr. Sabry. He is fantastic! He and the driver were very kind and friendly. Mr. Saraby has an excellent knowledge of Egypt history wiling to help us and answer to all of our questions, also taking amazing photos! This tour is fully recommended!

Having Sabry as our guide was amazing. We are traveling the world with our 8 and 9 year olds, and our first stop with Sabry was the Egypt museum. My wife and I visited the museum 10 years ago as part of a bigger group, but without personal guiding. This trip was significantly better! We have also tried doing museums with our kids doing audio-guides: some have worked okay, but nothing like being with Sabry. Having Sabry, with his excitement, knowledge, and ability to engage us as both adults and kids made the museum come to life! The information and teaching he provided has also set up our ability to more greatly enjoy everything else we see in Egypt. After the museum, he guided us through the Bazaar, which was great as well. We travel a lot, but it's great to have a local, knowledgeable guide that is fun to talk with, listen to, and joke with throughout the experience. He gave a great dinner recommendation and overall was fantastic. Egypt Tailor Made is hands down the best tour agency we've ever dealt with (40+ countries visited) and Sabry is awesome! We did a classical tour of Egypt, 8 days, organised by Egypt Tailor Made, Everything worked seamlessly, from transfers to sightseeing tours. We especially enjoyed the time with our guide in Cairo, Mrs Heba. She speaks great English, is highly knowledgeable and experienced. and on top of that is pleasant company. She was flexible, adapted the two day Cairo sightseeing tour to our needs and interests, plus knew ALL the best spots to take pictures (which came out great!). We were in Cairo during a heatwave, and Heba made sure to time all visits in such a way as to minimise the exposure to heat. So, all in all - two memorable days in Cairo, thanks to Heba and Egypt Tailor Made.

Just spent a wonderful day with Laila in Cairo. We visited the Coptic & Islamic parts of the city, as well as the Bazaar and the Egyptian Museum. Egypt Tailor Made gave us a driver (with an air conditioned car) that promptly picked us up directly from our hotel in the morning. We then went straight to all the sites. Laila speaks excellent english, is funny, and is very knowledgeable on all things Egyptian. Having your own guide gave us such a better experience since we could go at our own pace and ask questions whenever needed. Very personalized. Laila also made a special stop for us to a delicious sweets bakery just because she found out we love the Egyptian desserts! She also helped us barter in the Bazaar and explained what the people around us were saying. Excellent photographer as well! Thank you very much for all your help, Laila!
