Itinerary
Hotel pick up at 07:30 am. The tour begins with heading towards the plateau of Giza to visit the only surviving Ancient Wonder all over the world, namely, the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus where you can capture some photos with the panoramic view to share with your friends and to remind you with this wonderful monument. Then, you will have a special chance to visit the sun boat (usually not included in any other tourist program Entrance fees not included ); it is the afterlife boat which was originally built for the Great Pharaoh Cheops.
Ancient Egyptians used to bury a \"solar barge\" near the tomb of their pharaoh because they believed that their ruler needed transportation in the afterlife. In 1954, the parts of a cedar-wood barge were found in five pits near the Great Pyramid of Khufu. The barge was restored and assembled out of 1200 pieces of wood and it is displayed, since then, in a glass museum near the Great Pyramid in Giza.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches.[4] It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been designed, sculpted, and constructed by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC).

Our tour of the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) was excellent. Our tour guide, Hoda, was very knowledgeable and shared a wealth of historical information about each site, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Hoda also went above and beyond by helping take photos throughout the tour. She suggested different poses and locations that helped us capture some great memories with the pyramids and Sphinx in the background. Overall, it was a fantastic tour and one that I would recommend. My only concern was related to the pricing communication before the trip. We received multiple WhatsApp messages advertising a full-day (8-hour) private tour covering three attractions of our choice for $60 per person. However, after arriving in Egypt, we were informed that the price was actually $90 per person because the special promotion had ended the previous month. This was frustrating, as the promotional messages continued to be sent up to a week before our flight to Egypt, creating the expectation that the advertised price was still valid. Aside from this pricing issue, the tour itself was well organized, informative, and memorable
Hoda was phenomenal. She was very informative and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend her.
It was our first full day in Egypt, after a long 18 hour flight from Western Canada. What a pleasant surprise to be greeted by Hoda and Ahmed, who took us to the Pyramid's, first thing in the morning. Ahmed was an expert driver, who navigated the "organized chaos" of the busy streets..!! Hoda was very personable and knowledgeable of the history of the Pyramid's. She gave detailed info, allowed us some personal time to explore and also captured many memorable photos of us throughout the day..!! Bonus stops at a few stores to buy souvenirs, was greatly appreciated 👍😃
We had an amazing experience visiting the Pyramid complex. Our guide, Egyptologist Hoda was wonderful and we learned a lot of amazing details about the site. A truly magical place and lovely people.
